Experiment 626's Solo TDG

You know, I really can't complain about the length of time it's taking. I just started a Succession Game, but it's been a year since the last time I played one. I'm a wee mite slow myself. :p

That's because you're far too nice and kind to complain.

Me, one the other hand, :trouble:

The move is finally finished, and the High Speed Internet is great! Now I just have to unpack :gripe:, and catch up on my  . Pity that I have to work all day today, but tomorrow is my day off!

Well, a week or so has passed, and I still don't have time to think. Work is extremely hectic right now, and when I do have some time to myself, my new roommate wants me to play 'City of Heroes'. I like that game and all, but it's no [c3c] . I promise to try (at the very least) to start the pre-game thread within the next week or so. There are some questions that hopefully you good and patient people can answer. I don't want to start the game before these questions are answered.

I didn't get a day off this week, but my fingers are crossed for next week. :please:

:

Mr. Pres, the only question that needs to be answered is, yes we are waiting for you sir. And yes we will wait until the end of time.... Ok, maybe not that long.

...until the end of Happy Hour?

Until we give up?

You asked for it!

The second Solo TDG Pre-Game thread is entitled "Experiment 626's Japanese Pre-Game Thread". My apologies for not including the link, but I can't remember how to . . . :(

Edit: I was going to include the link, but gmaharriet has beaten me :splat: to it. Click on the link in the thread below to go to the new Thread.

Go to the page with the new thread, click on the address bar, then click copy. Go back to the thread in which you want to show the link (this page) and click paste...and you have it.

Geez, have I lost my brain, or what?!! Thanks gma.

My new roommate showed me [civ4] the other day. I'll stick with [c3c].

You could use the hyperlink button, too. Either's fine.

I'm back! But the Pinky and the Brain save was lost, so that game is over.

HOWEVER, if you recall from the 'He wore a Blazing Saddle' TDG, I still owe that French (bleep) Joanie and the Arabic Apu for their transgressions. Luckily, I posted the savegame file after we launched the spaceship. I have downloaded it, and loaded into the game to ensure that it works . . . and it does!

I'm going to play a few games to regain the knack of warfare, and then . . . :nuke::nuke::nuke: or just maybe I'll eliminate Apu first and then work my way down the Beta continent taking French city after French City until she only has one small crappy city left. AND THEN -----> :nuke: :nuke: :nuke: her off the planet. I want to try to keep Global Warming down to a minimum.

Edit: Geez, I'm such a dunderhead! Since this game isn't HoF-friendly, I can just load in 1888 AD, and go from there. If I completely screw up, I can just reload 1888 AD, and try again. Any thoughts?

Beating up the French won't be much of a challenge but even punching bags can be fun.

Anybody know offhand how many nukes can be dropped before Global Warming affects the climate?
