The Fall of the Eleventh
Apologies to SouthernKing for using some of his Arena concept.
This is my new elimination Arena-style forum game. Since I thought of it on the spur of the moment, the rules may be a little rough around the edges. Sorry for that, but I'll try and refine them as we go.
The basic premise is something like The Arena. I'll select two people from the list, who will duke it out, through being voted for by other CFCers (you can vote even if you are not on the list). The person with the least votes recieves a strike against their name. There are, however, a few catches.
1. If you start out on the list, but are one of the first ten people eliminated, you may no longer vote. - However, the first ten people who are eliminated are the ONLY people allowed to vote once the list is down to five people.
2. You are eliminated if you lose not two matches (à la the Arena), but one.
3. My random number generator, which I will use to select contestants, will have two extra numbers (12 and 14, the day and month of my birthday). Every time either (or both) of these crop up, I will do an extra RNG from the list of eliminated people. Voters will then vote for which one they want to re-enter the competition. The winner re-enters the competition. In the case of a draw, I will flip a coin. Heads, both contestants go back in. Tails, neither do.
I need twenty signups to begin. Feel free to ask for a specific number to be assigned to.
