Excuse me, but how do I build Trades?

I have built the base Trader building in my city, but see no clue of Resource Traders in my city view. Nothing new, in fact.

I play with P&P and H&P with latest versions as the OP guided.

I just fired this up. Didn't get the chance to play yet but I gotta say this is inspired. The trades look great. Colonies look great, though I kinda want to hold off on playing with them until Prestige exists so I can integrate them. That seems to be important.

Tooling through the pedia, I think one helpful (although work intensive) change might be to make the different Governor's Mansions different buildings instead of copies with different effects. Does that make sense? Like a slave colony will have Slave Trading Post, etc etc. I think that might make things clearer for users looking in city view. That is quite minor, however.

Yeah, after my first game with this I am pretty much blown away. I love all the possibilities that different resource and tribal combinations can offer now, and look forward to new strategy guides based on your expansions :D

Why do we need the CP???

Because Emperor Whoward ascended to Beyond Earth, abdicating his throne to Lord Gazebo.

Sweet - what are their abilities?

Same as Whale and Orca.

Yes, we do. You could try Whoward's dll instead, but I dunno if this would work.

No, it wouldn't.

I'll have to replicate the tile purchasing visual bug and get back to you, JFD - but it was basically whenever I would purchase a tile that had a tribe on it, the icon that shows in the notification that EUI does for tile purchasing would show up pink.

I'll keep an eye out, but if you happen to come across it again in regular play, just keep note of what specifically it said for me. Thanks.

Excuse me, but does this mod work with the Revolutions mod?

Did you try it?

You have an improved, Trader-based resource?

You'll be holding off for quite some time then ;)

Are the colour-coded icons not enough to distinguish the different colonies? Problem with your proposition is that it would demand four times as much art.

You're right about the art, I just try to avoid having duplicate buildings in the game. It's just a thought. and by no means a deal-breaker or anything like that.

And yeah, I know I gotta wait awhile for prestige, I've always been soooo excited for it. In the meantime I will be playing with ExCE, don't you worry. The longer Prestige takes, the more time I play Civ 5. I'm very happy 6 hasn't been announced yet....

You have an improved, Trader-based resource?

Yes I did have.

I tried again disabling P&P and H&P and now it worked. There probably were some problems with compatibility; sad - I love playing with both of them.

Thanks for this awesome mod, anyway! :)

Probably P&P - it's still using a custom city view for the Monk. That's not necessary anymore (ExCE and EUI adds that support internally). P&P update will be out before I update ExCE.

I wanted to say first and foremost, thank you for making such a fantastic mod. It's probably one of my new favorites. I should mention that whenever I built a jade trade, the icon next to "finished constructing" was a red square, along with a missing texture message. Other than that, I need to ask, how do tribe trades work exactly? After I built a jade trade in the capital, I wasn't able to build a tribe consulate except in another city. Even then, I wasn't able to construct the unit it came with. (The tribe was Koga, but correct me if I'm wrong about Koga giving units.)

So, I am using the most up to date versions of CP and ExCE.

Anyway, I copied the appropriate files needed for Health and Plague compatibility into their requisite folders and fired the game up with H+P. What's been happening now is that I can found colonies, but they seem to behave like puppet cities, even giving me the popup choice to view, leave, or annex outright these cities when I click on the city banner. It does appear that, let's say I chose slave colony, the slave colony mechanic will continue to function as normal in the capital (I will get the MCIS icon and notification with proper production functionality).

I suspect that it is related to H+P because if I disable that mod colonies will revert to their expected, normal behavior. Included are my logs.

Also, and I am not trying to step on your toes here JFD because you're the pro, but should there be city banner manager files to overwrite as well? Thanks for taking a look at this.

Any clues as to what might be causing this? Also, Lua and XML.

I just ran a game on auto-play whilst I was away for two hours, and when I got back it was still running. It only CTDed when I tried to resume human play, so I seriously think it's down to one of your other mods. Maybe the CP. Like I've said before, your logs won't help diagnose crashes. It's just a guessing game for me.

Just Jade having this problem? I'll look into it, thanks.

Consulates take up two slots, just like a resource Market. So, normally, you won't be able to support both a Consulate and a resource Market in any given city. Koga allows for Ninjas, which require Steel.

Thank you for declaring that.

I was under the impression that H&P didn't have a citybanner manager file that it replaced, but I may have been wrong (maybe it was a recent addition, or I glossed over it). I will do some thorough testing with H&P.

Promotions are still invisible. Newer versions of the community patch and this are the only new mods introduced. Attrition's being a bit wonky at the moment: my Tongan starting units are getting hit with scurvy, and it seems to persist on land

Here's my database log. It's quite a mess: http://pastebin.com/Qv5ni5ji

Okay, my lua log is 48 mb, and it keeps whining about Australia and a unit panel thing. That's probably the cause of my invisible promotions, even though it was working before the latest updates

I tested Natan's theory that my game crashes because of russian version, so even if I play on english games still crashes. Must say it crashed on about 120 turn, so seems that turn borders when game will crash are much wider then I thought.

What's your problem with the CP?

It makes AIs ridiculously aggressive. It makes them think that because their army is bigger, they can defeat me, which isn't true. I ruined half of their armies because of the Dow.

I'm having some trouble with city banners. I deleted EUI's city banner files and copied the city banner files from the ExCE EUI folder into the ExCE Vanilla folder, overwriting the ones already present. Besides the files left in the ExCE EUI folder, the only city banner files I have are those in the ExCE Vanilla folder.

City banners in-game are all fine, or at least they were: once I conquered a city, the banner of that city is completely garbled, with colors overlapping, icons haphazardly placed, etc. Any idea what happened here?

Natan: would you rather they never DoW? How else are they supposed to determine if they can beat you?
