Exploration Continued Expanded (Obsolete)

I'm still running into saved games deciding to crash after being loaded but it seems to be random.
 
Reloading a save from within the game will almost always result in a crash. This is just a matter of using a custom DLL - nothing to do with ExCE, and nothing about which anything can be done. You'll just need to shut down your game before you try to reload any saves, so as to ensure that the game properly resets its caching.

This wasn't from trying to load in game, I started up from desktop, loaded from the menu, clicked next turn, and crashed back to desktop.
 
Then it's very unlikely to be coming from Exploration Continued Expanded, which is at its bare minium right now.

Please, people, stop reporting bugs without giving any logs or information about your load order, and that's at least. I'm not magic.
 
Can you make the original Exploration Continued mod available again? It just did an update & removed itself, and I can't reinstall it so my current save game can't load.
 
So the Tribes are definitely a neat idea that work decently to represent those weird entities that can't quite be done as city-states or civs easily. Plus their art is super neat!

Few minor things: are they supposed to appear on mountains? That happens from time to time and they still work and look perfectly fine, plus it's pretty cool when it happens to say, the Shaolin, I'm just pointing out that is a thing that happens that you may not have wanted. Personally I think it should stay a thing just because, well, it's not like you're doing anything else with mountains.

Secondly, what kinds of things do they do exactly aside from providing tile yields? IIRC you said they're safe places in hostile environments for units to take respite, but anything else? I dunno if like, they can be pillaged or cause certain events to happen or can be overwritten with another tile improvement and so on. They're a little mysterious! lol

As of right now they only provide yields, but with attrition they provide shelter from attrition, and with trade you can trade with them.
 
JFD, for me, Exploration and trade are more important then Attrition and colonies. Could you please release them?
 
It's not like he has them just sitting on his computer and he's deliberately holding them back. Colonies and Trade are currently not finished and Attrition needs work - that is why currently the mod is only Exploration as that is the component he feels is currently most complete and suitable to play with.

Have patience. Good things take time and this is one of the best things, so they will be released when they are in a state to be released.

(I assume he only removed it from the downloads because he wanted to be sure that there are no bugs before he releases the mod, but there were no bugs with trade)
 
Silly question, will this mod work on the vanilla game with all the DLC's and expansion, basically, will it work for me if I don't use the community patch like the old Exploration Continued mod?

Hi, So annoyingly the colony thing is working for the AI player but not for me. (Resulting in extreme AI spam.)

Is there a way to disable colonies. Also the new espionage (which I assume is from the community patch) is ultra annoying (way too few spies). I don't suppose there is a way to turn it off?

On the whole this is an interesting mod but what I really want is the previous version, Exploration Continued with the extra resources from this one. Multiplayer support will also be awesome.
