E&D is definitely suspect as far as Gazebo is concerned. So it is entirely possible you were experiencing a different CTD.

Not really, I experienced same thing like you did, based on your description in CP git repo's report . It remains to be seen, if this will still persist , once I get chance to try with newest hotfix.Reason why I mentioned E&D is because I had it enabled all the time and even though it's an older version, I manage to finish latest session without single crash today, with ExCE disabled.

Issues that you described applied for me also:
-AI hangs 1-2 seconds after pressing end button - CTD
-Reloading save game - CTD on same turn it happened first time.
 
Hey, I commented on the workshop page about this as well, but just got around to trying out this mod, is it a known bug that Great scouting units (excepting when upgrading through experience, apparently) seem unable to obtain the embark promotion and thus can't embark?
 
Yes, it is. I reported it a while back. JFD was suppose to fix in the last update(s), but apparently he forgot.
Maybe he'll issue a hotfix.
 
Hmmm... I'm not getting the new promotions for recon units on my recon units(they don't gain XP from exploring the fog of war and finding natural wonders). I played as Djoser and Nubia. I don't know what happened, they worked fine in my previous games(with same leaders).
 
Is it supposed to be that I can not build a Great Scout even if I discovered Trapping?
 
Yes. It may only be bought or upgraded from normal recon units.
 
As of the latest update to the CP, it is having a serious conflict with ExCE. For some reason, it is preventing any terrain immunities from happening (ex units produced in a jungle city have no jungle immunity).

I seem to have experience the same issue.

Came here to say this. I was playing as Cleopatra for a while, tip toeing around the deserts, before I eventually remembered I should've had immunity.
 
I love this mod (though when will we get tribes back?).

However, it's biggest drawback is the AI. They don't seem to have any interest in settling the new world. I don't have any competition there before the 20th century. By then, I've taken all the ruins, all the shipwrecks and my cities have a massive head start.

I'm even using the "Aggressive and Expansive" AI Mod. What else can be done?

Well, I haven't updated ExCE in some time, and there's been several CP updates, so...
 
I haven't followed this project close for about a half a year or more. How it's going? Is trade a still maybe yes maybe no component or so?
 
The latest update to CP fixes the bug with the starting promotions and terrain immunities. If you are still having trouble, try redownloading as Gazebo put the fix out late last night.
 
Erm, hello again!

I'm still encountering the same issue I was having in this post, despite now running the latest versions of the mods in question, and I just can't seem to figure out what's going on, as no one else seems to be having this issue.

I've attached my latest logs and minidump to this post as well.

Assistance is appreciated if you have the time. =<

Ok, yes, this may be my fault. Because of the way CBP handles the Trading Post, I simply delete Feathers (which requires it) from the database, which is, in general, pretty bad. Here is a quick hotfix to address the issue, and hopefully this resolves the CTDs. Sorry for not realizing this earlier.
