Hello guys !

Awesome job you are doing here, congrats everyone !

I was wondering, is there a way to extract 3D Models like military units and leaders to work them in Blender or another 3d modeling software ?

Thank you in advance !

(sorry for my poor english, not my native langage)

Yes, models can be extracted to Blender by converting the .fgx files to .cn6 using CivNexus6 then using the Blender scripts to import .cn6 into Blender. Then when you are done modelling you can export from Blender to .cn6 and convert your .cn6 back into .fgx using CivNexus6.

Wow thank's ! Do you have a step by step tutorial on how to extract and convert .fgx files ?

Not really. What I describe above is pretty much the process. There's no need to extract the .fgx files - you just have to download the SDK Assets and they are all there.

Ok thank's a lot !

Sorry if i'm bothering you, I'm a begginer here, but now that I have the 3d model in blender, is there a way to import textures and animation too ?

If by "import textures" you mean display textures then yes there is.

Animations can be imported to the old version of Blender version 2.49 by exporting the animation .fgx to .na2 using CivNexus6. The process is exactly the same as for .gr2 files for Civ 5 except you are using .fgx files and CivNexus6 instead of Nexus Buddy 2.

Can you please help me? It seems to me that you are a vise person. So, I'm into modding, but I'm an absolute noob when it comes to CIV. So, i wanted to start with something simple like painting Peter's coat different color, but i cant even find a folder where models are stored ....

You need to download the Sid Meier's Civilization VI Development Assets from Steam. The models are *.fgx files in there.

DAMN i'm so dumb, still cant find them. Ok I installed sdk opened modbuddy, also civNexus(followed instalation guide. checked everything twice), created new "CIv and leader" mod and still nothing. MB we're just talking about different things? I need in-game models like heads, torsos and textures

There are two different downloads from Steam Tools menu the Sid Meier's Civilization VI Development Tools and the Sid Meier's Civilization VI Development Assets. The 3d models are in the Assets.
