Wow, I never would have expected Amelancheir to attain dominance - I thought it was only a matter of time until you killed him. Also, I'm glad to see our fixes worked and the barbs haven't been killing off many civs.

Sorry to hear about the problem with your computer. I definitely understand that would make the stories a lot shorter; sorry for any extra aggravation the stories caused.
 
No, its fine. Amelancheir's cities have both FoL and the Guardian of Nature civic, so they're growing really quickly.

For the most part, I'll need to focus on getting the fire mana online and then building wizards to seige and conquer Amelancheir. If I can take him out, I should be OK for a while as far as expansion is concerned.

Ah, okay that explains it. I was at a loss for what could have made him gain so many points so quickly but all that extra population would certainly do the trick.

(spoiler) I moved Sucellus tomb to a newly created chokepoint between you and the ljosalfar with a held Sphener with the appropriate religion and the undead instead of angel promotion, but it lacks hero and has weak. (spoiler)

I think that this game is cursed by elves. They stole all my cookies a few weeks ago and now they assassinated Korias. I think that as soon as there is a new playtoy, they will attack him, her, or it. I also blame them for my ipod incident in which it started ti make strange noises when I wasnot looking. It creeped me out for 20 minutes and then I forgot about it. I wasn't about to let a bunch of loony elves make fun of me. Just to keep the element of surprise on my side, I also gifted them with a blowpipe with one of those poisons that the Amazonian warriors extract from frogs. As sarge said, healthy competition is good :crazyeye:
