Well, Valledia, You've tried to pleased me. I appreciate it. You are skilled in managing you empire and your cities are flourishing. But you should put a more effort into it. Your flourishing empire is already attracting guests from far lands. But unless you strive for greatness, the only visitors will be cowards and liars. But build a vibrant and colourful empire, and your granaries will be overflowing and stories about Amurite nation will spread into all corners of Erebus.
He thought it would be ordinary sentry in the forests near Cirial. He was wrong. That....creatures were all around him. Watching him, chasing him, laughing at his clumsy attempts to avoid their traps. And then he overlooked one wire and he was hang hopelessly in the air. One of the creatures climbed down on him and put it's green, scabby face cloaked in shadows near to his. We are Bhordan Clan. We are the Nightkillers. We speak your language. You will live if you tell your leader that Bhordan Clan is here and will serve him if he will help Bhordan Clan take it's revenge on King Ghurd who enslaved our kind. We want him dead. We want you to live and tell your leader this. Or we will want you dead.

Captain Omandineos Report
.....After he recovered, we started interrogating him. He told us that his name is Ivan and he was proficient illusionist among his people that call themselves "Sheaim". He was able to describe his homeland and countries he have seen on that wreck while drifting....

Added bronze weapons to prince Mumbutu.
Added Ivan the Illusionist
Revealed some sheaim land and tiles from Ivan Voyage
SpoilerNot meant for mortal eye :
Spoiler:
Added two hidden taskmasters into that goblin fort.
Added bersekr to Banor to help them recover thier lost city.
And Stygian guards are not? They are held. They are surprise for Korias, but they are held and they are not guarding some key position. So chill out.
The berseker otoh is different manner. I was too lazy to come up with some original way to help Decius reteke it's own city. The berseker is on par with the treant and will be deleted next turnset. Due to the distance between Decius and other nations i find it wery unlikely that he will declare war. But you are free to come up with different approach to bannor problem.
If the changes he made are drastic enough to be of an issue where I cannot complete the quest at this level, then we will ignore the changes. Because the spoiler says "Not for mortal eyes", I'm not going to look at it. But if the changes made are something that's over powered and are not temporary like Junil's angels, then Algeroth must redo the changes or we ignore them. But considering that the "Other Nation" has had trouble, and I've been given the means to stop it, then there's something that may need to be done about the AI civs.
If you want to boost the AI civs, then do so in order to prolong the game and ramp up the difficulty. I've recieved alot of bonuses, and this IS on noble. I feel that I may have made a mistake when I set the difficulty because this game is getting beyond easy.
I leave the decision for the changes and their power level in the hands of the gods. Simply tell me which save you guys have decided on being the save that is balanced and I'll play with that one.
After his journey north, Nariac had definitely changed. At first everybody thought it was something about his disease, but after a while they realized it was something different. He grew taller and more muscular, his skin becoming an odd tint. By the time the man grew tusks it was obvious to all that he was no longer the man that had ventured north.
Despite his feral appearance, Nariac's manner was that of a civilized man and he had an aura of authority about him. Ever since recovering from his illness (if it, in fact, had been an illness and not symptoms of his change) he had been acting openly as a godspeaker, visiting the palace in Cevedes often to deliver the commands of his lady to the queen of the Amurites.
It was one of those times, when Nariac was in the capital, delivering his lady's will to Valledia and her advisors. None was left of the uncertainty of the poor forester that had once been granted audience to Valledia in these same halls.
”My lady is pleased with you, queen, so far”, Nariac said. Him not calling Valledia his queen did not go unnoticed by anyone present. ”But she would have you serve her even better. For now, her requests for you are small. You have sent men north to guard her possession. That is good. Keep enough men stationed there and let no-one approach. Secondly, east of here, beyond the ocean, lies a land where men like myself worship her, giving her the respect she deserves. Treat them with respect and friendship, and in them you shall find a great and powerful friend.”
”Lastly, my lady requests a sacrifice from you. Fire is a great servant of her, and so she demands you make a sacrifice to fire. Trees grow tall and strong where your neighbours, the elves, live... It would please my lady greatly if you sent me southwest to dedicate some of these forests for her...”
Spoilertasks :
Maintain guard near the Ring of Carcer. Treat the Clan of Embers friendly when you get contact. Send Nariac to Ljosalfvar borders and later, if possible, within and have him set as many forests ablaze as possible. Pictures of proper forest fires very appreciated
Keep Nariac alive and let him grow strong - now and in the future I will keep him a poweful ally for you
I don't think the held units are a problem, but the bannor beserker certainly is. I think the simplest way to let Decius retake his city (besides deleting and replacing it) is to delete all the barbs from the city, then give Decius one warrior with unit_combat "city attack" right next to the city. The Treant will not be a problem; I changed it to unit_combat animal and played a few turns to verify that it does indeed flee the city since animals aren't allowed to guard cities. Therefore, just one warrior should do the trick to help Decius recapture his city.
Just clarifying Cerdiwen's quest. Whether Valledia chooses to save the other civ's capital, or leave it to the barbarians is not the determining factor of whether the quest is completed. Cerdiwen wants to hear Valledia's thoughts on the matter, and use them to make a judgement of Valledia's charcter. This judgement will determine whether the quest is a success. Thereofore, if you do decide to pursue this quest you will need to write something about your decision. It doesn't have to be long, just as much as you need to describe what motivated Valledia's decision.
There also is another situation involved in this besides the chance to earn Cerdiwen's loyalty. Regardless of Cerdiwen's decision, you will gain a diplo bonus with the Balseraphs if you help them retake their city, or a diplo penalty if you refuse to help them. Of course, not allowing them to regain their capital will leave them significantly weakened, so I guess it is up to you which is more of a benefit: a steadfast ally or a crippled foe.
I just want to stress one more time the results of these two quests are not related; only the later depends directly on which action you choose - a proper explanation for either course of action will gain Cerdiwen's favor.
I always considered deleting units...well i just have some weird block. Wouldn't givin'g bannor culture in that plot bump out barbarian units? Anyway, it should do that someone of you I don't have the time and don't care about the berseker, it was just a quick fix
Not all your actions, (that would be one heck of a quest) just your choice related to the capital situation. I was just trying to get across the point that whatever you choose, a thought process that agrees with Cerdiwen's "lesson" will earn you her loyalty. Your diplomatic situation with the capital's owners, on the other hand, will be directly related to which option you choose.
For Gods only
Spoiler:
Ok, could whoever gets the save next delete the bannor beserker and simply use changing culture in the city plot to give them their city back. I'll do it in the next few hours if no one ends up grabbing the save.
I didnt see it in the changes. I assumed he hadnt put it in.
Remove the Necronomicon. Its WAY to early for that. WAY WAY to early. The Drown Hero is enough incentive.
Changes like adding World Wonders are just way too powerful for me to accept. I do want a challenge here.
