I think you should adapt it to one existing game, which have well studied rules you can use.

WoWtcg seems to fit pretty well for that. And it is really useful to scale card powers to have a reference.

@francois: i reference many games, wow too, but i dont want to copy rules from them.

@thomas.berubeg: i trying to find good blank cards for the game, after that i'll upload them again :)

how about them;

sweet, thats a good idea
so we can take the game ANYWHERE!!!
:)

Thanks :) i attached some blank cards on previous post, did you like them?

They look like Magic the Gathering cars.
I wouldn´t use anything from Wizards of the Coast :)

don´t worry about card backgrounds yet. in the worst case I can create you some, when you know for sure how they have to look like, gameplay-wise ;)

They look like Magic the Gathering cars.
They look ? They ARE from Magic tG. :)
But I'd like to know the rules ... (or example game) ... :please::please::please::)
or on what is this game based on ... Lands (like in Magic), Energy (like in Pokemon (horrible game)), Action Points (like in I-don't-know-in-what) ? :)

I'll try to create rules as soon as possible, but my English isn't so good, 'couse of that i need to give them my English teacher to check. I think next weekend, they'll finish :)

Yeah, as seZ said, make the game first and then worry about the art.

This is a pretty cool idea bro. Although im not exactly sure who im going to play it with (I'm all alone ='( ). Also, I'd agree with Kael that you should get the gameplay down first. Gameplay > Graphics. You could be running through the most detailed meddow of flowers that you've ever seen, being more realistic than real life, but if your just running through it, it gets boring VERY quickly =D. But on the same hand, you shouldn't neglect graphics. But I think I got carried away... Oh well =D

My ideology is:
give me a game / set of rules, which is exciting and fun to play and I will invest my time to supply you with art.

I think the first step is to set the goal of this game.
perhaps the original Game goals are quiet nice:
Winning by points
Conquest
Dominion
cultural
Religion
Tower of Mastery
Altar of the Lounnotar

If you play with Lands, i would use the landcards to build (lay) a world.
Lands can be settled and give resources.
Resourses:
Food,
Metal,
Gold.
Food ist for settlers
Metal for building things and gold is for upkeep (and science?)
Some cards could need several Resourses.
When you build a card put it face down on the table and collect enough resourse markers for the card requirements. When you got enough you can reveal the card, an use it.

thats my idea for a concept.

Yeah, i'll use Conquest, Tower of Mastery and Altar of Lounnontar winning. (but onlt Conquest in starter deck). I'll not want to use resources, 'couse i don't think it like strategy game, i have some different ideas for the game.

Maybe some mine improvement cards (cooper, iron and mithril mines) i'll add for weapon upgrades.

I will love too see how you work out heroes and (possibly) veterancy upgrades.
For heroes you could have it so once that card has won X ammount of battles, it gets X effect (So your hero has won one battle, so it gets +1 str). You might also be able to apply this to adepts and upgrading them (adept has won 3 battles, you get a mage).

Its very good idea. I'll add this upgrading style to next deck. :) or maybe this deck :)
