I'm not sure if this is the right area...could someone tell me how to create oases with the malakim? Adepts do not appear to have the ability, and a worker did so at random once. Control over this ability would make the Malakim even more viable.
 
scorch has a small chance to create one. I have made 2 or 3 in my current game, but had no control over their placement.
 
What about making it work like Earth mana - any worked desert tile has a %% chance to spawn an oasis, chance increased with water (sun?) mana.
 
I don't agree personally. Even when I acknowledge that it is rare to see even one mine per game spawn a resource.

The oasis can now be worked, and are very powerful tiles.
 
Well, yes, but it's got something like a 1 in 10000 chance..... Not realistically going to happen. :lol:

Just checked the code for that - the chances are a little higher... Might be going away in the near future as a potential exploit...
 
Is there an alternative download mirror for the patch? It stops right at 1% for me.
 
How about preparing FF for FfH 2.1? Is it in plans or not? :)

How about preparing for the next Age of Ice. FFH2 and FF are probably hand in hand developing a plan to counteract HULU.com (the other plan to destroy the world).
 
What version of FFH2 is this compatible with? I should say the last set of patches, since there doesn't seem to be any notation for this. Sorry if I just missed it somewhere, but this inquiring mind would like to know.
 
Hrm, I haven't been able to get it to work at all. I keep getting a storm of XML exceptions. I guess I'll have to track down the .40 download and patch Z.

Er, on that note... Is there any place that hosts the old versions of FFH2 and it's patches?
 
Since my current work might be a large cause of delay on our next release, and I so rarely offer teasers, I'll offer this small one...
