Also, btw, about FF mp - FF still unplayable in MP since different OSS issues. (like FfH was once). Need alot of testing and tweaking b4 FF will be MP-playable. People who try it MP - please describe situations and post MP saves . I know already ALOOOOOOT of people who want to play FF MP games.

I've played 3 multiplayer games of Fall Further 030 so far (in the last 3 days in fact) - had 1 OoS between the three, and that was resolved by reloading. Also there are a lot of people on the Hamachi networks that play it with (as far as I know) very few problems.

The big OoS problem of the moment seems to be when one player rejoins a game in progress - that *does* cause it to OoS, but as far as I'm aware the same issue exists in FfH itself (if it doesn't anymore, I'd love to find out what the fix was). Games started from the lobby have been working well however, so if a player is dropped - save, go to lobby, reload, restart with all players.

Also - MP saves are generally not much use for diagnostics. It's often quite difficult to get them to load at all (if there are more than 3 players involved, I can't do it without some additional machines), OoS errors tend to be "fleeting" (by the time you've saved it, the event that caused the error is already done) and none of the debug tools (Worldbuilder, Debug-menus) work in MP games to prevent cheating. What they are good for however is if you reload a game with the same players a few turns before the issue and see if you can reproduce it. If it can be reproduced, then there's a chance of being able to find the cause.
 
we playing via hamachi too, but every time we start FF game we get OSS and cant reload it, since other player just cant join game.... do you similar with such issue?

Also what hamachi network you in? i want to play FF too... but so far we get issues within our networks when trying FF MP.

Hmm - can you not access the game lobby from Hamachi?

EDIT: Rephrase - all players should be in the "Staging Room" before game launched (LAN Lobby is a different screen from the Staging Room, as is the Gamespy Internet lobby - am assuming Hamachi has a similar lobby area)

I don't use it personally, but I know that some of the players who frequent #Erebus play it (I was there answering questions about the Lizards/Jungles as they were playing it)

mmm i using only hamachi as it is, really i know that its possible somehow, but never used that... I just using networks and playing with certain people who are in those networks...

answer to your Edit: Afaik hamachi allows IP games, by hosting some own IP, and allowing people join to it. All games through hamachi are IP connection.

join ffh2_mp_sorc on hamachi we can chat about it :), also there are some people who tried to play FF and getting OSS every game.

Yeah... Falamar likes scales too *cough* (fixed).

Kael moved the "automatic removal" of one of them to an event - you should eventually get a message about the two groups fighting inside your city.

Hmm, is it possible to give priests of Omor or Kalshek ability to choose inquisitor promotion? I have in almost every one of my mazatl city 2 or 3 religions, although the Mazatl are agnostic.

Edit: Ok, now I have in all my cities mix of Order, OO, RoK or AV. I think it isn`t right for player with agnostic trait.

Not really wrong in this case though. The Mazatl worship a number of different gods and follow various cults/religions - the most popular two being Kalshekk and Omorr. These are the ones that are favoured enough to have temples erected in the cities - but there will be groups of other worshippers lurking around (they're not "anti-religion" (Cassiel) and they don't try to exterminate other theologies as a rule).

On the other hand - I'm not against the idea of allowing them to have Inquisitors, but it's a little difficult to sort out the prereqs to do it without opening up more spells again. I'll have a look and will see if there are any ways to do it (Inquisitor requires Channeling2 at the moment - which is the main problem).
 
We talked about that on hamachi, but i will post it down here - me as well few players i talked with have same thought - promoting workers is scuh... annoying when you play lets say mp and have tons of them. they gain xp fast and new feature slowing game alot.
May be should add some option like " Autopromote Workers" at settings screen?
 
I've been playing the Kahdi, and it seems I can't cast either world spell. I have Strength of Will, and looking at the tooltip for Enlightenment, it says that the spell enables Kahd - however, I built Kahd without it.

Also... this is something I haven't tried yet, but seeing the speed at which Workers gain XP, um... Are they blocked from Waning? XD I would guess that the worker mod has the potential to overpower the Sidar greatly...

Also, did Priests of Omarr ever get Spell Extension 1?

Also also: Due to having Chanelling 1, Mazatl workers gain XP vastly faster then any other type of worker; again, not sure if this is intended, or if something needs to be changed to fix it. It really is quite noticeable how much faster they gain XP, though.
 
Patch A for FF030

1. Kahdi Phalanx and Immortal enabled (only Champion should be blocked).
2. Kahdi Rider replaced Horse Archer.
3. Hianthrogh and Kahd no longer have gender-identity issues.
4. Kahd can no longer adopt Fellowship of the Leaves.
5. Kahd likes the Great Library now (instead of Prophecy of Ragnarok)
6. Baby spider are ANIMAL_INVISIBLE now, as with Giant spider (and no - Mother can't have it too :p)
7. Kahdi arcane upgrade costs scaled back
8. Mammon-Kahd should now be available if you selected the Mammon path.
9. Gnosling Knowledge gain TextKey fixed.
10. Gnosling Knowledge gain amount reduced (now 2 x opponents level)
11. Kahd cannot build Abashi.

edit: ok found a bug after the patch. Kahdi warrior on barrow. He has 2 explore dungeon buttons. The first one is labelled correctly and works fine. Second one says "TEXT_KEY_SPELL_MARNOK_BARB_DUNGEONEER". This one can be clicked on and when you do, you get same text message but nothing happened.
 
Seems I can't cast any of the new spells - I don't even get any option to cast the dungeon exploring spell. Everything else is there, the buttons for the Kahdi world spell, the giant steadings, I just can't cast any spells.
 
odd, i just played a patched game as the mazatl, and all the buttons were there and working. There were even to many buttons: i had 2 buttons to explore a barrow (in desert) with a warrior. One was the normal "explore dungeon", the other one had a text string, ending with something like DUNGEONKEE P (including the space).
Those giant steading may be a bit much though, i had 6 hill giants around my borders by turn 70 (epic speed).
 
Found another bug - cant build Meditation Halls for Kahdi. They apearing at tech tree and should be able to build , but just no such building in my city screen.
No Med.Hall - no Djenies :(

(quite odd though, having to go down the religious path as the khadi, i'd prefer to have them eighter moved to philosophy or mathematics)

It's blocked, as of an early version of xienwolf's component - I had exactly the same thought :)

Did you install over an old version of Fall Further? If so - check this post. That would produce the exact issue you're reporting (I think).

Thanks - I'd disabled the "BarbAlly" option for the lairs, but I only actually disabled the effect, not the ability to use it (the button should do nothing at all except make you count as having casted). I've fixed that and reuploaded it in Patch A (so just re-download Patch A - very small fix so I'll do it now rather than waiting for a "Patch B" to come along)

Fair point - I'll move them down to Philosophy (I think that's what I had in mind to start with - but my fingers don't always type what they're told to...). [That change is also included in Patch A now]
