Fallout mod.

There were still a couple of units needed for this mod, so I gave Thor a hand: here are the Corvega and the Highwayman. 13 more units to go...

...we have no understanding what the term 'release date' means.;) It will be released when we feel it is finished. The big hold up is gfx right now.

I think BfNY is going to get a lot of new units when this mod is released :)

Then I think you'd love this one as well... :)

Next is this little bugger, the brainbot. If only someone could tell me what kind of attacks it is supposed to do... (Thorgrimm? MarineCorps?)

Flamand, The Brain Bot usually carried an Assault rifle as they were used for security. It is looking good, but could you shrink it down just a tad? Say about 20%.:)

The Truck is sweet, reminds me of the wrecks found in the RPG's.:D

The model you gave me didn't have a rifle. Don't worry about the size, this was just for showing what model I was talking about... :)

This is looking great guys :goodjob:

Am I correct that post-apocalyse, the vehicles would be running on grain and other types of distilled alcohol ... if so, technically the flame of explosion would have a blue tinge ...

Don't worry if too much trouble, as mentioned they look cool and i'm getting excited with each new entry on this thread and waiting with baited breath the ... It's Done message

Also are there any other tasks required on a non-graphics front? ...
> Do all the civilizations have complete city lists?
> Military and Scientific leader names?
> Diplomacy dialogue?
etc

FE3333au, yeah the vehicles are mainly run on methol Alcohol distilled from corn.

Since I finally have the newer and larger map I can now add the slavers, raiders and critters civs. So if you wish to come up with city and leader names for the Slavers and Raiders civs, that would be most helpful.:) Also, if you could edit the Diplomatic txt file that would be of immense help.

I think you will find many who are lurking and itching for completion almost rabid in eagerness to assist ;)

So I return with a ToDo list for you :p

City Names
1. Could you perhaps post the names that are already known for the slavers, raiders and critters ... it will help get a feel for each.
2. Also how many is your optimum number of names for each, and do you have anough for the other civs?

Diplomacy
Hmmm ... how can we do this efficiently?
1. Could you post a copy of the latest diplomatic screen which shows leaderheads and perhaps write in point form their character traits.
2. Print the default text that we can customise.

Leader Names ... I assume SGL and ML and NOT leader of the Civ
1. Please supply what you already have for each civ and give us the optimum number you wish to have.

Any other text and history requirements
1. Don't be shy ... just ask ... there is a legion of fans for the FallOut games and this project in particular who just need to be utilised :goodjob:

Nice additions.
I think some of the things done in FO were because maybe the animators couldn't do them. I don't see the brain bot actually carrying a rifle.
Would seem more logical if it was attacking with its hands(possibly extending them in a Mr. Fantastic way) in a seemingly not fully controllable way, more or less, "slapping" the opponent.

Btw, I'll be upgrading to 1.22 since newyears, to start working more on my works(and can't possibly switch between versions, which would be detrimental for my system). Do you think you can upgrade RoC, Thor?

The brainbot has no rifle yet because it was not included in the model, so I need to find one first. Since it would be cool to have those arms move like snakes, I'll need to find first out how to do that...
But I'm really wondering how that thing can hold a rifle and what it can do with it apart from banging somone on the head with it given the 'hands' he has... :crazyeye:

Tell you the truth, I can't remember how it attacked for the life of me.
You could avoid most of their attacks if you played a certain way, and I managed just that.

It doesn't carry a rifle, cause the pics provided by Thor to FeelTheRads didn't include one(btw, awesome modeller as long as he stayed with the mod). It might not actually look like it's carrying a rifle, FO's graphics where iffy in some areas, though great in others. It's possible you're just seeing the gunflash coming from somewhere to indicate attacks. But can't be adamant, as I've never faced them(or can't remember it).

I had in mind just those "snake moving hand" attacks you're mentioning. 'Course, it's Thor's choice, finally.

I think the bot did a 360° turn with it'S torso using it's arms like a flail....
at least I think it was so..But as alreaddy mentioned here were also bots with rifles (autorifle or something like that...=

@Samez, that was the death you mention.

@Flamand, I found a Thompson SMG you could use. In the RPG they did use an assault rifle, but I think the original intention for the brainbot was for maintenence. But by the time Fallout came around they were changed to be used for security.

@Flame, I always liked to clear a place of badguys. I REALLY liked clearing the Sierra Army Depot. Lots o badguys there. :D And yeah FTR was great. It is a shame he dropped without notice because he still posts on NMA, but does not reply to my PM's.
