Good point. Except it does;t say that you made it up.
This all copy and pasted off a page called George W Bush and the 14 point of fascism.

These are two of the points that this site claims is part of bush's plan.

5.) Rampant Sexism
It's legal again, to fire gov't workers for being gay

3.) Identification of Enemies/Scapegoats as a Unifying Cause: The people are rallied into a unifying patriotic frenzy over the need to eliminate a perceived common threat or foe: racial, ethnic or religious minorities; liberals; communists; socialists, terrorists, etc.
World history textbook used by seventh-graders at Scottsdale’s Mohave Middle School was pulled from classrooms mid-semester amid growing right criticism of the book’s unbiased portrayal of Islam

The United States is not fascist. A redefinition of fascism would be required to make it true (unless the government of the U.S. actually became fascist).

Displays of favorability towards one's nation state or even nation do not signal fascism. Fascists states usually have these demonstrations, true however there is more to fascism than that. It is not the policy of the U.S. government to promote the growth of the power of the state at almost any costs or to promote its interests above all else.

Extreme authoritarianism and totalitarianism are not popular in the U.S. although some may believe that one or the other is coming and alledge that one or the other is being accepted at a rapid pace.

OOPS hit the wrong button. Anyone who equates The US with fascism needs to do a little reading, whatch the history channel or something

But this is what you said it said:

Really, like how bush is sexist and fires gays? and i almost forgot, racist too? When i was reading that, i was thinking BS.

That its legal to fire gays does not = bush is sexist and fires gays. It refers to an alternate interpretation of the law by the administration that does not view sexual orientation as a protected class. Baldness is also not a protected group and it is legal to fire prople for being bald but I don;t think GB is doing that either.

Muslims and Arabs are a suspect group in the US. There is an attempt by some to rally us into a unifying patrotic frenzy with them as a threat.

There are 14 points each with multiple references on the page. Some are lame and stretched but many others give a good reason why some might feel a drift toward principles characteristic of fascism are occuring in the US.

To accuse America of being Fascist is so incredibly ignorant on so many levels.

They might have a clue about life, probably have a clue about the United States, but they clearly don't know what fascism is.

Most people don't know communism either though.
