He has made so many movies it is impossible to make a poll about it, even though we all like polls. So what movies do you like by good old Hitchcock and which are your favorites.

I think Rear Window is my favorite by him. Psycho is absolutely brilliant as well.

North by Northwest.

Vertigo is my favourite. North by Northwest and Psycho are also fantastic.

Charade ('63).

Definitely Psycho, though I do like The Birds even if it's a bit dated. I must admit it hasn't aged as well as his other films. Vertigo is good but it drags a little too much for me.

He did such an amazing job of Bloch's book 'Psycho', I loved his adaptation as director.
'Rebecca' was also brilliant, and I love anything with Olivier in it, he's a fantastic actor.

Not counting the films already mentioned I loved Strangers on a Train. Such a edge of your seat film. And I think his best film while in England is also train themed, The Lady Vanishes.

The only ones I've seen were Rear Window, The Birds, Psycho, North by Northwest, and Vertigo. Of those, I guess I disliked Vertigo or Rear Window the least, however I wasn't really a fan of any of them. Maybe because I was in high school at the time (we watched them in English class) but I found them by and large boring and The Birds laughable.

North by Northwest and Charade. I just found them more fun, perhaps because Cary Grant was actually a great comedy actor who did dramas.

I think Cary Grant criticized other Hollywood directors for not putting humor in their dramas and praised Hitchcock for doing so.
