Favorite Peace Song

Hello there guys, I've been listening to Civ5 Soundtrack and woah, they really did a fantastic job in there. Decided to make a poll about it:

Really? No one likes the fantastic music? That arrangement of Rokudan no Shirabe just brought tears to a relative of mine =(

I'd have to go with England.

I wish I could find the name of a certain other piece of music. It's not on the OST. It just randomly plays sometimes. It sounds like a western classical piece (probably from the romantic era?). It starts out with a harp and some violins/strings (or was it a harp and flute?). That's about all I can say about it sadly...

The persian's one is epic. Actually, not just the Peace song, but most of the persians songs overall. I play as them just for the nice music.

I like the French one, it sounds distantly related to the music from Age of Empires 3

It pretty similar to AOE 3. I wonder if Civ serie make "Courteur de bois" or whatever. I don't sure if having some "Fast worker" in Civ 5 is good thing. I think the faster they are, the faster they will useless.

As Thai. I love Siamese one. It felt... well, peaceful.

EDIT: Oh yes. IMO Middle Eastern peace music are... freak. For Middle Eastern peace music, I like Darius, For war, I like Suleiman.

I like Japan`s music. I`ve only played with Arabia, Ghandi, France and Japan though.

Yeahhh Suleiman at War is really fantastic. My poor poll is unpopular, I guess people are more happy whining than enjoying fine music

I voted for China. A lot of options, and unless you have the soundtrack you'd have to load the game to compare and judge, or do it from memory. Perhaps if you posted links to all of the peace themes for people to listen and judge you might have more responses. I found about 3/4 of the leaders by just going to youtube and typing "Civ 5 music peace".

Out of curiosity, has anyone heard any music that brings up feelings of nostalgia from earlier games? From what I've listened to, I don't think any of the themes are from previous games. Compare this with, say, civ4 where the music during the Dawn of Man screen was the theme of civ1.

EDIT: Found it at Assets\Sounds\Streamed\Music\Leader Music

But how can I play ogg sound tracks ? Can't play that neither at WMP, nor Real Player.

You're right, they are similar, but not the same. Anyways, the Elizabeth Theme is not original. That's Jupiter, the God of Jollity, from Gustav Holst
