Personally I can stomach any flavor as long as it is in the kettle-cooked style.

Plain old chips. Salt is the best ingredient of any potato chip. Plain chips you can taste that miracle mineral more easily. I don't like kettle cooked chips, to chrunchy, I don't like that, I prefer a middleground between no crunch, and chewing balsa wood.

I'm more of a pretzel person myself.

But I do enjoy the Lay's "KC Barbeque" flavor.

Well if Bacon Fries count as a crisp probably them, but it's very much a judgement call. They go very well with beer. Other than that, Tayto cheese and onion are pretty good. As are BBQ Pringles.

@Comrade Davo: I prefer them separate, like a nice ham sandwich with a side of chips and a pickle.

But generally I can eat most flavors. But my favorite chips are Wavy Lays or just Original Lays. Though other brands of the same flavor are good.

BBQ flavored potato chips are my favorite.
But let me tell you a local chip flavor around washington dc and the chesepeake bay.
Its called "Crab" chips. It has old bay seasoning in it and tastes like seafood sort of. Its also very spicy.:goodjob:

Yuck.. Kettle cooked and baked chips may be "slightly" healthier but they taste really nasty imo.

I don't like them, but most of the time there isn't anything else. Smokey bacon (I heard it was going to be banned) or ready salted.

I had some made with sunflour oil recently, and they were really hard (a little thicker than normal) ... quite good.
