What time period do you like the most?

My favorite is the medival age, becorse so many interesting things happend in that time period.

One's very fond of the 20th century, the century that could have erased all mankind and all previous history.

Right here, right now. Good medical services, good juridical protection, no fear of starvation, war is highly unlikely. :)

I wouldn't mind if things were going a bit better for me personally, though. :p

I like the Ancient Ages, Ancient Egypt, Greece, Persia etc... There's a certain romanticism that goes along with those times I think, due to large vast Empires, and Wonders like the Pyramids. Also there is alot of mystery involving those times because only so much history was actually recorded, a bit of speculation is involved. Though in reality I realise that life must have been pretty damn hard for your average Joe.

If I were a rich and influent person, than I'd like to try the period when Rome was at its zenith. But not too much rich or influent though, otherwise I could forget about geting old.

1914-1939

When the world found its oats, one way, or the other. Especially 1921-1936, when the world found its oats in style.

You forgot to put in the time period btw, Rennaisance and Enlightenment.

I vote industrial age.

For thousands of years before Alexander the Great, Egypt thrived on the banks of the Nile in a timelessness of tradition that has not been rivalled. When I think about "sustainable" society, Ancient Egypt is the dream I dream of. We can never go back, but those of us who were there will always wax nostalgic about the endless round of Ancient Evenings...

no i didn´t, they are there just like all the other

17-19th centuries. Every aspect of it is fascinating. Exploration, conquest, Empire, social conditions, even the clothes.

And of course we ruled the waves, which helps ;)

Classical ages, I suppose. I have a slight fondness for the period 323 - 280 BCE, but perhaps that is because I have dedicated an unfair ammount of study to it compared to the rest of the era.
