Was watching Platoon last night, and starting thinking about what vietnam movie I liked best....I think so far, it's Dead Presidents (even though only about 1/2 of it is in vietnam....)

what about youse?!

Thats the worst list of Nam movies ever.

Jacobs ladders dosent even belong on that list.
Far as I remember (long time ago I saw that one) no part of the movie was the guy in vietnam. Yes I know they gave him the drugs back when he was there, but that was all there was.

And no Full Metal Jacket? shame on you!

'We Were Soldiers' has to be the best Vietnam flick ever. I even got to meet MAJ Bruce Crandall in person once.

I am with MB, here. "We Were Soldiers", although knee-deep in religious BS, was clearly the best Vietnam movie ever.

Right now I'd say "We were Soldiers", but past favs are "Platoon" and "Apocalypse Now". I can also recall liking "Casualties of War". I can't remember just how good it was but I enjoyed seeing Michael J. Fox play Sean Penn's conscience.
