Favourite Pink Floyd song?

When I was in high school, I wore out The Wall on my cassette Walkman. Later, I got into a Wish You Were Here phase. As an adult, I think I appreciate the earlier, grungier stuff more, such as The Piper at the Gates of Dawn.

As for just one song, I have no idea, but I'll name the opening of The Wall, "In the Flesh?"

"Empty spaces/What shall we do now?" (live 1980)
"We shall we do now?" was never released on the album the Wall, despite the song was in the movie and the band played it on their 1980 live tour.

"Money" at the live 8 concert is very special, because it was the last time all 4 original members played live together. And that will never happen again.

Something between...

Careful with that axe, Eugene,
A Saucerful of secrets,
One of these days,
The Nile song,
Cirrus Minor...

... hmm...
... something like that. There are some glaring holes in that list, starting with Astronomy Domine, Paint Box, Bike, Hey You and a small dozen of others.

Love the Atom Heart Mother album from my childhood days.

Right, you don't care what anyone thinks, you do your own thing.... Which explains the need to post in a thread about a band you claim not to care about to say that only hipsters like it. :rotfl:

You think when I'm in the privacy of my home chilling out I listen to what other people tell me I'm supposed to like? Sounds like someone's still stuck in teenage rebellion phase.
