Favourite sitcom of all time

I loved Frasier and actually because the 'smart' person was an idiot. That way ,it satirized elitism and snobism, for me.

I can't think of many sitcoms that poke fun of the intellectual instead of "blue collar workers" (like married with children, which also really good.)

I'm older and Frasier was one of the few recent comedies I liked. The fact that people went to Harvard doesn't make them smart in leading their lives. I know some PhD's who cannot get along in the world. Some of it might be elitism and some of it is that academic intelligence often doesn't correspond with common sense.

It definitely satirized snobism, for sure. Always enjoyable.

Two books I recommend relating to this is "Understanding Stupidity" and "The Story of Stupidity".
