Oldnoob, how was the folder created without spaces? Is that an automatic process or is it you calling it like that?
SVN and full installer work. I know because I use them for testing. I haven't tried yet latest revision with dbkblk installer. Right now I'm not feeling well and my little boy is ill too, so I can't test now. But I'll do it ASAP and I'll let you know.@45 Dbkblk' s program does not create it's own folder. It installs directly into the BTS/Mods folder. so when you look into the BTS/Mods folder you find AND sprawled "all over the floor in bits and pieces". So yes I created a new folder and named it.( apparently wrongly) In my defense I will say that I have had AND in folders of different names several times since I have been playing AND and never had any problem starting the mod.
I just now a half hour ago created a new folder, named it properly then moved the contents into it finding the same xml errors when starting the game so I feel that all concerns about folder names have sidetracked Dbkblk from the real issue. The real issue is the xml errors at mod startup.
I have deleted dbkblk's program and the inis and logs from C;user and am now downloading AND From the SVN repository. If I still have problems I will delete that and download the Repro. I KNOW that works!
Ok. I'll modify the installer to force the installation on the right folder.
The new installer doesn't use SVN but the server of Afforess, which might be overloaded some times, that's why it is faster !
rsync.exe -rz --info=progress2 --log-file="log.txt" --delete-after --exclude "cygcrypto-1.0.0.dll" --exclude "cyggcc_s-1.dll" --exclude "cygiconv-2.dll" --exclude "cygssp-0.dll" --exclude "cygwin1.dll" --exclude "cygz.dll" --exclude "rsync.exe" --exclude "upd_proc.exe" --exclude ".svn*" --exclude "updating" --exclude "checker/exclusions.custom.xml" --exclude "checker/changelog_last.xml" --exclude "checker/checker_config.ini" --exclude "Assets/BlueMarble.FPK" --exclude "Assets/Modules/Interface Colors/MLF_CIV4ModularLoadingControls.xml" --exclude "Assets/Modules/Formations/MLF_CIV4ModularLoadingControls.xml" --exclude "UserSettings/*.ini" "afforess.com::ftp/" .
Just Keep plugging along and someday ..........................@oldnoob: I can confirm that the launcher write some files at the top of the base folder when it is launched in a folder which is not named "Rise of Mankind - A New Dawn". I've fixed the installer to setup in "mods/" folder then to create the mod folder on his own, to avoid the issue you've encountered.
Thank you for report and sorry for the inconvenience !
In the launcher options, you can choose the colors you want for the interface.
It's never been an option, even with the old installer. Your only chance is not to change default color.I want the default dark blue, and that's not an option there.

I haven't tried the new installer yet, so I don't know.I didn't mean to though - I went into the Options, and it said 'Black'. So I was concerned that would set it to black when I launched the game, so I went to Cerulean since I thought that was what the default blue interface was - turns out its more of a silver color.
So there's no way at all to get the old interface back, short of reinstalling and just not using the Installer next time?
Oops. I've just realised i've listed the modded color but not the original. Thank you for report.
ATM, just edit the file in "Assets/Modules/Interface Colors/MLF_CIV4ModularLoadingControls.xml" with a text editor and set all "<bLoad></bLoad>" tags to 0. You can use the launcher but do not open the option window as it will reset to black. The fix will be included in the next version.
The file exclusion GUI (for modders) is nearly finished and i expect to publish it this week end.
