FfH2 0.16 Bug Thread

I think the problem with undead guarding a city is: since they are beings created only by magic, if said magic fails or for some reason stops working, they will fail or stop working. And a unenchanted corpse isn't going to protect anyone, no matter how evil or good you are.

I believe I've found a strange bug that should rarely affect people much. In fact, it may be a bug with CIV4 rather than with FFH2. I started a game and was within sight of another CIV as soon as I began. I moved, got to greet them, but decided I would regenerate the map instead of playing b/c my terrain was pretty bad (plus I would have been blocked in by this other civ from doing anything for a while.)

Anyway, after regenerating the map, I was still in contact with the other CIV. They were halfway across the map too, so it was certainly a bug.

I also noticed that there is no entry for the Goblin worker in the civilopedia, although there is one for the dwarven worker. I captured one and it didn't turn into a regular worker, so I was wondering if there was anything special about it. I don't think so.

Goblin Workers start with orcish (which has no effect whatsoever other than flavour) and are, IIRC, less effective than regular workers.

That´s actually a common bug with the Regenerate Map feature.

That also works if you reload while you are in the diplomacy menu.
Meet someone, open menu, reload while in menu, make open borders treaty and have it already signed when you met them a couple of turns later. :)

God King is suppossed to bring +50% commerce in capital according to ingame info.

It doesn't do so and i have the newest patch, so either ingame info is wrong or bug.

I'm pretty sure it's +50% *gold*, not commerce.

yep its gold.
Confused me the first time too.

The ingame info is probably based off of bureaucracy's trait of +50% :hammers: and +50% :commerce: in the capital.

If they have been upgraded to iron weapons, they get strength 6.

If you have acess to Copper/Iron/Mithril and the Forge building in a city, your Mercenary will gain the Bronze/Iron/Mithril Weapons promotion. Bronze gives +1str, Iron gives +2str and+10% agains bronze weapons, Mithril gives +4str and +10% agains iron and bronze.

Playing on Prince, raging barbs & as elven....
... with the current .16h patch....

.... got stuck with production, so ended up building a pile of adepts (before hooking up any mana).

1. My automated workers seemed to avoid hooking the mana sources up to roads.
2. When I finally got the advances to be able to build the nodes, the "auto" option wasnt there any more on my adepts... only way to build the nodes was to do it manually...

That is correct. Workers wont automatically upgrade nodes. Since you cant change them I didnt want the AI to be upgrading your nodes unless you specifically told it too. Instead you have to use adepts to upgrade your nodes.

There seems to be something wrong with the marksman promotion. In my latest game, one of my chanters would choose to attack an imp (combat 3) over an Infernal spearman (combat 1), but my other (stronger) chanter picked the spearman every time.

I'm not sure if this is a bug, but my chanters could only capture workers out in the open, maybe only when they were unguarded, but wouldn't capture them when attacking a city. I can see how that might make sense, but I thought I'd post it just incase.
