FfH2 0.32 Bug Thread

Actually, FoL doesn't affect your alignment.

Still, the part about AV making you evil without switching to it sounds like a bug since as the Lucichurip I did found it (was trying to boost score a bit). I had RoK and still remained good alignment.

CtD at EoT. Actions done this round are, Promote Evangelist one star and send him to the city to the south w/o any religion. Choose to build a temple of the overlords.

Running on Vista.

Patch d.

I am Valledia of the Amurites (neutral) in my recent game. My religion is Fellowship (neutral). Then I founded Ashen Veil, but haven't switched to it. Now I was evil; I can understand this, because of their holy city - this made me evil, obviously. Some time after that, I switched to Kilmorph and became neutral. After switching back to Fellowship, I remain neutral! Is there an explanation for it?
Was this in "vanilla FfH" or were you using a modmod? Fall Further includes Grey Fox's Broader Alignments, in which various actions like founding a religion or building a shrine can effect your alignment.

The Barbarians still declare war on you after the first turn of an Advanced Start game, even if an AI that is placed after you has double your score. (I'm thinking they declare war on you while you are still the only player in the game.)

Personally I don't like the barbarian declaring war mechanism at all. How about making ti so that they will only turn on you if you make a peace treaty they don't like?

Also, it seems odd that Floodplanes can be burnt down using Blaze.

Or maybe make it based off getting specific techs? Make a list of techs, when you research one you have X% they declare on your, where X is equal to 10 * the number of techs on the list you've gotten (Assuming 10 techs). Something like that where you have to risk civilization. Just... don't put education on that list or you'll randomly screw them hehe.

Playing .32d. Rosier the fallen ISN'T immune to disease. Another "bug" is when you capture a city with Kuriotates even if it is size 1 and automatically razed they give you the option to make it a city or settlement if you havent already built all your cities. I don't think this causes any problems, its just weird and a little confusing.

I've reported this earlier, it seems it got lost in the thread, so I'm gonna repeat myself again :(. In a game, I was playing Svartalfar, and I couldn't remove Jungles. Isn't that a supposed patch "b" change?

Are you sue you have patch b correctly? (You downloaded the separate patch file) works fine for me.

I'm playing 2.32 with patch d.

Currently I'm playing Keelyn of the Balseraphs, using the Council of Esus religion. I've been playing games with Varn Gosam by using Masked Harlequins and Taskmasters, wearing away his armies so he doesn't attack me later on. My troops pop out of the Trojan Horse, kill some troops, and then pop back into the horse to heal up undisturbed.

The problem lies in the attack. When my masked units attacked from the Horse (without disembarking first), the computer did not display combat odds. Odd, I thought, but I continued anyway. Well, the computer gave me Malakim's city without a fight! It simply displaced all of his units outside of the city, and I took it over as if it were undefended (and we were at war).

Did you use the stack attack? I suspect stackattack+withdrawal as this problem.

In the Victory Condition at F8 is a bug. The most influencing religion under Religious Victory is always wrong, showing only 1 or 2 Percent. Fortunately, F7 works fine.

I encountered the same problem when having hidden nationality units in boats, and moving the boat over a neutral opposing civ. All the units of this other civ just dissappeared. I think THAT was fixed in .32, but I'm guessing the horse is still broked.

a minor annoyance as the belseraphs:

i built a settler and it started mutated, with crazed. it turned barbarian on me the next turn. i think settlers should be immune to the free chance of mutation from chaos mana.

This isn't really a bug, but I don't think the screen shot I posted in the screen shot thread (it doesn;t seem to let you attach a pic more than once...) should be possible. Basium was caught torturing prisoners, and so I (Basium) must either reprimand or decommission "myself."

I've had this event recur many times on Yvain too. I personally think that Heroes should be exempt from this event.

I also noticed that the Library burning down event happens way too often.

I think the library is just luck of the draw, it's only happened once to me.

I could personally go with Minister Kuon never showing up again though...

This was just a single unit attacking, although there was another unit inside the horse. If I disembark the unit before attacking the city, everything is fine. It's only if he attacks from the horse. Very odd.

Hm. Something seems off with the Volcano event.

Ive gotten it twice in two games now, and the second time both times it didn't spawn a volcano.

Probably easy to test to see if its actually doing this or if I just have crazy luck... But I don't have time to test it right not at 4:25am XD

I think summons are affected by the random chance for mutation from chaos mana.

I once noticed Alcazan the Mirror was Crazed, and I've had it happen to other summons too.

Thanks to everyone for reporting issues. The progress thusfar has been updated in the first post for patch "e".

I havent been able to reproduce the problem where some players lose their command buttons in a forest or jungle. I would understand if you were running a modmod that hadnt updated to the new maintainfeature array format, or if you had modular loading on and it was reading in a file that used the old maintainfeatures format.

If you are having the problem please verify that:

1. You arent running a modmod.
2. You dont have modular loading enabled.
3. You have python debugging enabled.

Then please post a screenshot of the first python error you get.

I agree with ya Kael, I noticed that the ones that were having the problems also had FF, which is why I was trying to suggest to them to check out the modmod itself.
