FfH2 Bug Thread

Playing on patch n (same game as my last post :D), and the Lanun cast Raging Seas. This caused a mushroom tile to be lost. I know this is because mushrooms are an improvment rather than a resource, so strictly speaking its not a bug, but it just seemed wrong.
 
Not sure if this has been reported yet or not, skimmed the Costmetics, but...
The Champions from the Hellfire event are all the standard, not demonic looking at all. They are under the Infernals control, but not the Infernals graphic.
 
Not sure if its intended or not, but feast unhappiness doesn't seem to stack(feast with 3 units on the same town in 1 turn leaves it with only has one unhappiness due to feasting). This is .40 with patch l. Its been a while, but at some point it seemed like this did stack.
 
ok that explains much. but why the hell should anyone do this? 15 turns!! If it were 5 turns, I would consider it in some games, but 15 turns only if it appeared in an unimportant city (do you get a great artist unit or a settled great artist?). The AI got killed in two of my games only because of this event, once by me and once by the barbs. (When I attacked them the event wouldn't have mattered, but the barbs in the other game weren't very strong)
 
Patch "o" is linked in the first post. It will not break save games and makes the following changes:

1. New Amurite Palace by C.Roland (old Amurite palace model moved to the tower of complacency).
2. New Bannor cityset art by C.Roland.
3. New Bannor Palace by C.Roland.
4. New Dwarven Settler model graphics by seZereth.
5. Fixed a CtD that could happen if Koun split from a barbarian trait leader.
6. Updated German translation (thanks to Kontrollator and the German translation team).
7. Tech recosting (in general early techs become a bit cheaper and later techs become a bit more expensive, but the major effect awas to smooth out a lot of the weird tech cost jumps).
8. New Dwarven Druid model by seZereth.
9. New Dwarven Slinger model by seZereth.
10. New Dwarven Warrior model by seZereth.
 
I don't see this in the Known Issues post, so I'm reporting it.

When my state religion is Council of Esus and I declare war on another nation, my units that are in their territory don't get ejected. This is a feature of having CoE as state religion. However, when I declare war on another nation that has vassals, my units are ejected from the vassals' territory. Is this the intended behavior?
 
IMO... Invisibility really needs to be fixed ASAP.... It can be a game breaker, and really does not make it fun at all....

Even with perfect sight I cannot see invisible units (this is when they have the invisible promotion from the NOX and in their cultural border).

I would prefer to see invisibility as a chance not to be seen.
99% chance for units without any sight promotions to see them
96% chance with sight lvl1
92% chance with sight lvl2
0% chance with perfect sight

Or something like that. A hunter may be able to see tracks or hear a close by unit. etc...

I am not saying that the above is what should be used it is just an example.

I had the event happen to me. All you need is a disciple unit to create a great work in the city and end the anarchy.

build hawk, scout, invisible = powerless. And a bug should hardly be a reason to change an existing working feature, shouldn't it?
(Isn't Nox supposed to be seen by other means of spotting invisible things since one of the more recent patches?)
 
I'm playing the Luchuirp, I found gems in a mine in my capital city, I suppose through earth mana as I have 2. But the thing is this, I get the commerce bonus, but it's acting like I don't have the resources/gems, I dont get happiness bonus nor could I trade it.

I am happy for it to stay the same, but functional. And at the moment it does NOT work properly because Perfect Sight does not see the units within their cultural border. It is either a problem with the invisibility promotion, the perfect sight promotion or the NOX wonder.

The AI can have stacks of troops massing at our borders and I cannot formulate a defense or counter strike because I cannot see where they are. Perfect Sight is meant to work!
 
Got a python exception in latest game, playing patch o, had a warrior cast world spell For The Horde and got the exception, clicked ok, and clicking the next turn button caused it to CtD.
The error stated

Hard to tell in city view... but it really doesn't look like you have a road on that tile.
 
I was playing patch n, Shaeim. When I hit end turn the game crashes (bebbuger says "Access Violation"). It is something the AI is doing, because It goes on their turn... Now I am trying to attach the save file... It looks like it is successfully attached.

Please, I would really appreciate a workaround, because it is an interesting game. I am cornered there and I want to see if I can turn it around, this situation does not occur often to me...
 
Can the Luchiurp build Boar Riders?

I have Pigs + Archery + Stirrups + Stable, but I am unable to build them.

I can build Chariots, but not Boar Riders.

Honestly, I like the Chariots better, but just wanted to see the Boar Rider model. :)

Ok that's a quite good human player strategy. But the AI had the event turn 30-40 so this wouldn't have been possible.

Also, did you get this resource this turn? If so, it will not be "active" untill next turn.

I had the event early on turn 30 or something (marathon speed), as greed would have it I wanted the GP, so 15 turns of anarchy it was. Since I was playing th Illans, I just used their world spell and froze the development of the others to try and counteract the negative. and I did only have that one city (my capital).

I agree with an earlier post that the event needs to have a requirment of more than 1 city, maybe say 3 or more.

Something similar happend to me. I discovered iron, mined two sources and connected them with roads and I still have no access. I though that maybe Amurites couldn`t use iron (as I`m a FFH newbie) but there is nothing in the manual.

Not sure if this one belongs here, but I'm fairly certain I didn't see anywhere else to put it. Anyways:

Sidar world spell causes all your units to look like normal units.
