FfH2 Bug Thread

Once I've attacked with my shadow and got moves left I can walk into the stack of the enemy units and they jump away. It's like if invisible units can't share tiles with enemy units. This even happens in cities. Which makes them quite easy to capture.
 
On the AI issue, the werewolves ALWAYS declare war really early. They march on my city with very few numbers, but Lucien's always in the stack. He attacks, loses and my defender gets a nice lump of xp. Seems rather dumb of him.
 
I repost my post to see if someone else have had this problem, and knows what to do about it:

I just downloaded the 0.40 version but it won't work. When I load the mod it says in the upper right corner that it's FFH 2 but the graphics and the game is all the ordinary BTS. I have BTS 3.17 and have not had any problems with the earlier versions of FFH.

Does the directory where FFH is installed look the same as the previous versions did?

Have you also tried deleting the mod and redownloading/installing it?
 
The hidden options from scenarios carry over to regular games.

I realize this has been a problem for a long time, but the scenarios make it particularly problematic.
 
More of an "Is this intended?" question: I was looking around the Civilopedia, and I noticed that Flauros' new favourite civic is Liberty. Perhaps in this case it might mean liberty for the Vampires rather than the human cattle, but I thought I'd double check. It looks especially odd right above his favourite wonder, the Pillar of Chains...
 
Try this and let me know if it works.

1. Start a custom game on a duel erebus map.
2. Save the game.
3. Exit FfH2.
4. Reload FfH2.
5. Load your save game.
6. Then try to play a scenario.

Let me know if that works.

Unfortunately it didn't help for me.
Scenarios still CtD.

I never experienced problems in all previous versions of FfH and Fall Further.
I would be grateful to everybody that can give me some other suggestions...

As this is my first post I cannot avoid to say that in any case FfH is one of the best and the most addictive games I ever played and the whole team made an amazing job. :goodjob:
The community also, proved to be one of the most mature, supporting and constructive that I ever seen. :king:

Where are you seeing ectehouse.mp3?
 
I expect it's unique to Sacrifice The Weak - I had the exact same thing happen to me. STW is unique in that it was removed from the Compassion line of civics (that's now gone from the mod) and put into one of the other civic lines, probably there was something that wasn't quite right with the setup of it.

It's because it says "no state religion", but it itself requires you to have AV as the state religion, so it conflicts.

If you want to get around this, go into the civ4civicInfos file in Fall from Heaven 2\Assets\XML\Gameinfo, find sacrifice the weak and edit:

<bStateReligion>0</bStateReligion>

to

<bStateReligion>1</bStateReligion>
 
when is patch "A" released?

Soon I hope since it contain some cruicial things to the "main game", but :sad: I think he wants to wait until he has figured out the scenario problem (call me a pessimist, but I fear it can take awhile unless he (someone) got a heureka moment)
 
I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but i've noticed that the AI seems to garrison it's cities very weakly. Most cities seem to have only 1 crappy warrior in and perhaps 2 scouts. This is even the case with civs declaring war. One declared war on me and literally had no army so I simply swept through all of the cities and wiped him out easily. Mind, the annoying Civ thing of the AI managing to continuously win when the odds are 1000/1 is as prominent as ever.

Playing on prince difficulty which was pretty challenging on standard Civ.
 
In the Gift of Kylorin scenario. I've noticed a couple things:
1. If you walk over the place where Sidar gives you the invisibility potion repeatedly, you can get multiple potions. Furthermore, using the potion at least changed my unit graphic into the standard "archmage" graphic, casting a spell changes my graphic back.
 
Garrim Gyr seems to be a bit tongue tied asking for open borders...:)

Patch "a" is linked in the first post. It contains the following changes and won't break save games.

1. Fixed the icon for the Timor Mask promotion.
2. Added the Fall of Cuantine scenario (by Nikis-Knight).
3. Rituals are all marked as spaceship so that the Celestial Compass bonus applies.
4. Succubus casts Charm Person instead of Inspiration.
5. The Mithril Golem and Meshabber both correctly require an AC of 70 (instead of 7).
6. Fixed an issue that could cause some diplomacy tags to show up as "1".
7. Game options are no longer saved (it just caused to many issues).
8. Mip mapped city art textures (so they look less pixelated) by OnmyojiOmn.
9. New Radiant Guard model art by seZereth.
10. You can't get around permanent war/peace scenario settings by damaging units with spells anymore.
11. Fixed a CtD caused by a unit entering the Maelstrom.
12. Fixed the Wizard graphics.
13. Fixed Sacrifice the Weak so you can use it with a state religion.

centaur lancers (kuriotate only) require stables, which cannot be built by the kuriotates.
 
Here's the WoC I was talking about earlier. Also a crash I have not been able to figure out what the cause is, despite trying.
