FfH2 Bug Thread

Even so, you don't get a trophy for Fall of Cuantine (though you do get a trophy looking icon in the scenario screen) but not the TXT_KEY_WB_THE_FALL_OF_CUANTINE as it is called in the trophy hall.

That's because it has been misreferenced in the python file that controls the trophies.

It should be TXT_KEY_WB_FALL_OF_CUANTINE

Is anyone else having the problem of the AI's having very weak militarys? No one else seems to have mentioned it so im wondering if I have a setting wrong or somthing. I play on prince setting, and it really does make playing rather pointless. The AI loves to declare war all the time and never has any military at all. Am I doing somthing wrong?

I've only played one game so far, and I was actually surprised at how strong and aggressive the AI was (on Monarch). I had three civs declare war on me between turns ~60-120, and each was sending stacks of 4-6 units fairly regularly. Once I got my bearings, it was a lot of fun (I'm used to a relatively passive AI and I usually play builder type, so it was something new).

There's a reference in CIV4UnitArtStyleTypeInfos.xml to ART_DEF_UNIT_IMP_ILLUSION which doesn't exist.

*edit*
Fixing this fixed my crashing save above! :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::wallbash:

I don't know if this qualifies as a bug, but in my game Lucian is less likely to defend and attack when he is in a group, even when his odds of winning is the greatest. Without even having any promotions that would affect those chances.

Is this intentional?

Hero units have a reduced chance to defend the stack if I remember correctly, so yes, intentional. :P

He doesn't have hero promotion.

True, but you do get messages when he is created/killed, can only have 1 of him and such, so I would assume he's still classed as one, even if he lacks the promotion.

Does the directory where FFH is installed look the same as the previous versions did?

Have you also tried deleting the mod and redownloading/installing it?

I tried removing and reinstalling it with the same result. Took a picture of the directory, think it looks the same as the directory of the previous version.

I'll try and redownload and install, but I doubt that is the problem.

Maybe it's because the directory says "Sid meyers civilization IV complete"?

It looks like you are running Cvi4 complete. You will need to do one of the following, either:

1. Change the path in the shortcut to your path

or

2. Load the mod from within Civ4. To do this load BtS normally then go into Advanced -> Load a mod and select FfH2.

When you explore a dungeon with a stack say with three units, you get three different results. I had a disciple of the leaves and five barbs and a spectre (another tile) spawned

Patch "b" is linked in the first post. It fixes the following issues and won't break save games:

1. Centaur Lancers no longer require stables.
2. New version of the Momus scenario (smaller map).
3. Fixed an issue that kept players from winning the Radiant Guard scenario.
4. Fixed the ritual/spaceship issue.
5. Fixed a CtD that could be caused by an Illusionist summoning an Imp.

I couldn't find the cosmetic issues thread. It should probably be linked from the first post.

Anyway, some to the Civlopedia articles are innaccurate:
FIRE MANA: says it gives Scorch. should be Blaze
MIND MANA: says it gives Charm Person. should be Inspiration.

Radiant Guard scenario produces new bugs for me in .40b

1) After the 100 enemies died, every following enemy that dies produces the same event about the demon offering peace. I keep choosing the same option to side with Basium each time which leads to the second problem.

2) Each time I select to side with Basium, a new Basium + Mercurian army spawns in Bourne the Gleaming, so there's like a dozen Basiums there now.
