EDIT: How many hours on average do you all spend on a game? Strikes me as a lot of time to devote considering a great many differences in clocks and such for you all. Can you all devote like 2 hours? Or do you play at like 1 hour or half hour stints?

most games last about 5-7 hours or longer per session, though we do some quick games that are only 2 hours or so sometimes

Australian east coast is AEST (GMT+10)
I might be in for a game this weekend, will see how things go. My comp tends to die (read: go very slowly between turns) on maps larger than small though, not sure if this is mainly a function of number of AI players, number of land tiles or both

Was looking at the 1st post again, I get Saturday 10am based on the little bit above the last edited tag. AEST and eastern australian time would be the same thing I think...

i think it gets calculated afresh each time (judging by the url), so it doesn't really expire.
and, yes, that makes it 11am for me. hopefully i will be out of bed by then =)

have you done the hamachi thingy? and are you behind a router? if so you might want to check out the router help links for civ to get you all set up before hand
