FFH2 Multiplayer Games - Invitation and Information

What's this Hamachi thing? I saw it referenced on the top, but if there was a link I missed it.

Probably a moot question, seeing how zitty my DSL has been the past month+. :aargh:

Get the program at http://www.hamachi.cc/download/ .
Once you manage to get it installed, join the 'FallFromHeaven' (case sensitive) network, using the password 'ffh' - once you get yourself connected to it, you should see a list of players with the ones currently online in white.

(There should be some similarish instructions in the first post on this thread, as well.)

Thanks, I didn't see the link the first time I read the top message.

Well, I did get it installed and joined the network. But i need version 0.15k to play? I'm still on 0.15j, since a 300 meg download is a pipe dream at the moment. :twitch:

Well, looks like I will have to go the cable modem route.
 
We're currently using .15k, so you'd need that to play right now.

Still, barring any major bugs, I imagine we'll be moving on to .16 in a few days - so trying to get that large file now would probably be pointless.
 
Just noticed that I'm listed on the frontpage, but unfortunately, I haven't been able to figure out what is wrong with my Hamachi. I still see everyone online, but I can't ping or char or browse or anything.. Have searched the hamachi forums and posted there, and spent way too much time messing with ports and such, to no avail.

Quite strange as it was working one day (we had just played a game incidentally) and then it just buggered out.

Anyways, guess its time to reformat :)
 
Yeah, I uninstalled it and reinstalled. No luck.
