FFH2 Multiplayer Games - Invitation and Information

i was able to get my friend to download ffh and i wanted to play multiplayer but when either of us start a new game it doesn't show... what are we doing wrong?

In order to have any chance of helping you, we need specifics - as far as I know, there's no way to read someone's mind over the internet yet.

Are you on a LAN, or trying to play over the internet?
Have you tried using a direct IP connection?
Does either player have a firewall, and, if so, does it block the ports needed by Civ4 multiplayer?
Can you play regular Civ4 games, that is, does the problem only happen with FFH?

You dont see a Direct-IP game on the game list, you have to connect to the hosts IP. A tip is to use Hamachi (a Virtual Lan program), which you can find a link to on the first post of this thread. Follow the instructions there (join the same network), and then if you host, he connects to your Hamachi IP.
