Final Civ3 Patch Requests

What's the AI war weariness issue? I don't really play Civ ;) Does the AI not get it?
 
One thing I would like is when you raise a settlement:
A) you get some gold (half the amount of gold you would get for selling all the remaining buildings?).
B) you get a worker.
C) Raised towns and cities are destroyed. Raised metros are reduced to pop lvl 1 towns of the original (defencive) civ (it should take longer to completely raise a metro). The raising unit is moved back to its attack square.

May be a bit complex for a patch but if not ...

Either way C3C needs a final patch for the reasons listed above (AT LEAST). Please don't neglect us FRAXIS. I don't want to be convinced NOT to buy Civ4.
 
When will the final patch come out :confused: Any rumors or maybe facts from FIRAXIS ???

I hope in next patch Firaxis will fix up "text problem" when using higher resolutions.
Because colour of text becomes weird when you use high resolutions.

Especially diplomacy text looks annoying, though I don't have screen about it.

Submarinebug is also very annoying.

One item I would like is an ability to automate workers but NOT have them chop forests down. I have about 120 workers in my current game. I'm at a point where automating them would make sense, but the first thing they do is chop down the forests I need for the two shields.

Is there any way to stop the workers from doing this as the rules stand? If not, could this feature be added?

I thought shift A kept the existing improvements -- but does it keep them from chopping down the forests also? If it does, that would be great!

it indeed does prevent deforestation--though jungles are fair game.

Make the little Airport Symbol next to the city turn RED when u Airlift something from that city so u can easiely identify what cities have conducted Airlifts!! :D


There are MANY issues this game still needs fixing, and I hope Firaxis finnishes!!!! Civ3 before putting too much effort into Civ4. Fix the game! make it something we can all be proud of. :D I don't even want to see Civ4 yet, Im too happy with Civ3, deley Civ4 for another year atleast plz!



And for God sakes!!, give Fighters and Jets an equal Attack to the Defence. HELLO??? :wallbash:
And Drop the Stealth Bomber Defence to a 4, a 5 makes a Stealth Fighter almost useless.
And add +2 to a Helicopter's opp range.
Make Tundra melt to Grassland!

I will allow Firaxis to Hire me for the Creation of Civ4 :D It would be Highly recomended!!

Alot of the changes u made in Conquest I was allready using in My Scenario.
I had Stealth Bomber Attack set on 16, same range, but I like your 18 better!
That was the only difference, :D out of ALL units.

BTW, the Multiplayer is Disapointing!!, make it like single player. with 16 Civs!

more graffix flaws, I have them circled. there seems to be a problem with edges. Notice I dicect enemy cities into slaves when i capture. :lol:
Scenario by SimPathy!, with a couple of add-ins, For 1, I added some Oil in the Pacific where it belongs. Being garded on little Island by Mech Inf.

I never played C3C, so I don't know any bugs, but from the complants I have heard, there should a resource scacity setting, like map size and barbarian settings -- form "boutiful" to "very rare." Or something like that. It would dependant on map size/settings/diffculty

And an interesting idea that most likely would be iggnored. How about a cultural leader, like the SGL and MGL? There would be a chance every time your cultural boarders increase, which would increase for every boarder increase (eg there is a 1% of a CGL form lvl. 1 > lvl. 2, 2% lvl. 2 > lvl. 3, etc.). It would be able to rush any non-military bulding (WoW, Small Wonders, Improvements). And a religious civ would have an increase chance of producing these leaders as well.
