The only thing FF-related that's still in progress around here is my global Final Fantasy mod, which covers all the games from I - XII and includes Tactics and Tactics: Advanced.... Feel free to use that as a start.
IIRC, I think there IS a Final Fantasy Tactics MAP in the maps sub-forum (called something like Final Fantasy Tactics War of the Lion), but I could be wrong. There are OTHER Final Fantasy maps, but of course, that's not what you're looking for.
I did make several FFT-specific units (and FFT-A), namely Viera units, Ultima, Princess Ovelia, a female Mediator and I'm going to (eventually) be doing a Marche Radiuju unit and Ramza (either to go with the Ramza LH I made or as a representative of the Hokuten Knights, aka the Knights of the Northern Sky, which are one of the UUs for the kingdom of Lesalia in the FF mod).
