Hi Firaxis/2K, I was wondering if you all read the posts that so many of your customers put on this site and request things of you? I ask because I believe the general opinion of CIV V is that it is liked, but it needs more. You can read various posts around the internet and see this opinion. But yet, information is lacking as to what you are doing with the game.

So, please you are smart people, you can figure a way to post here and say something about what is happening without breaking any IP laws or hurting feelings :)

I'd second this.

It has been too long. The game has good potential. Would be nice to know. Can't see it though. They seem to have a pact of secrecy between themselves.

Well I have to agree civ 5 has great gameplay the 1 unit per tile should be there all allone same with the hex grith!!!!!!

To be honest the stack of dooms and the random combat was just a element of the game that made me thinx this could be designed better
I had a time My helicopter was destroyed by a knight

Olso the previous version was so complex that alot of casual player just stopt playing it. I stopt playing the game about 2 months and then picked it up again it does had something interesting but still it took alot to know how to play.
The game had a tutorial but it didn't help.

The thing I thinx is missing in civ 5 is the diplomacy The bugs didn't stop me from playing the game.

Its this awefull DIPLOMACY model.

Just like sulla said there is just no way to interact witht he AI there isn't even a reason to conduct diplomacy except for exploiding the AI so you can get all his gold and then declare war.

Its a gambling machine I do this I get gold With this gold I sign research agreement and I hope I don't get dowed

There is no tech trading/map trading or positif modifiers and improvement of diplomatic relationship with trading so why bother?

Olso the AI is way to agressive and there is no way to maintain a ally in this game. The AI gets mad at you for everything expanding, building wonders, beeing peacefull, going to war and so on.

Like 1UP.com review said :

diplomacy has always been an important part of the series. In fact, depending on how you play, you could say it's been a central part of the series.

And I completly agree civilization 5 doesn't feel like a civilization game and I thinx thats because of that.

Its a shame because I thinx if diplomacy actually worked well this game is in every aspect better then civ 4

And for anybody who says diplomacy works fine look at the forum there is the thruth: There are a lot of topics about strange diplomatic things that happen and questions

Moderator Action: This post is just another rant and not in any way connected to the topic -> therefore it's considered spam.
