Anway, if a poster wants to have a flag, he/she could incorporate it even now into the avatar - or in his/her location. But, honestly, I doubt, that some of our fellow poster's locations are correct. I have no problem with this, but I also doubt, that all flags will be choosen geographically correct.
One thing I like about this site is its clean layout. I feel flags would only add more visual clutter to its design.
But the issue has already been decided by Thunderfall, so my above musings are quite pointless.
Still I'd like to see an option in my profile, to turn flags off. Also I wonder if there will be historic flags or fictious flags out of books or movies?

I'm of two minds about this - esp when considering that probably 1/3 to 1/2 of the flags I'll be looking at will be fr one nation only. How boring.

yes, animatet flags would be even better, but I doubt we will have that.

I voted yes, but maybe only in profiles, so people with slower connections don't have to wait an extra few minutes for a page to load.

I really don't see the point, it takes long enough for each page to load, this would just add to the time. Plus, we've got the wee location bits, I don't see why we would need flags also...
But in the profile you're only loading one flag - the person you're looking at.

But what's the point in having it at all? It tells you the persons location in the location Field...
