my advice: dont start until you have AT LEAST a week of no work, no school, no nothing but free time. then download/buy the program(s) you are interested in and start off by doing all of the program's tutorials that shipped with it. then start tackling some of the tutorials on the forums or other civ sites. i havent mastered any program because i havnt had the time to try. i actually did try but school kicked me off the computer and into a desk. im gonna try again this summer. (hopefully by then my other problem will be solved: my computer sux!) im workin on upgrading my computer to a 4.0 GHz processor with 2-3 GB of RAM and should have it by fall 2005. i really need it for CivIV.
