I got tired of Civilization 3 about 2 months back and went out and bought C&C generals and I loved it so I went out and bought Zero Hour which was equally impressing.

But I still love Civilization 3.

I created this Thread so people could post there maps and mods. There is a site I would like to thank for the help in C&C and that would be Command And Conquer Den

So here it is.

C&C generals is ok. I havent played the game indepth and studied the balances and game design enough to comment on how great the multiplayer gaming is, but I dont think the game is as refined as red alert 1 nor 2.

If you enjoyed c&c generals, try out RA series. Dont try other C&C series their game balanced and designs were horrible and not recommended for multiplay.

Well, C&C is a mighty fine game, Westwood are good game makers, I suggest you check out Emperor: Battle for Dune or L.E.D wars as well is you like C&C, though both of those are insanely difficult to find.

I have to agree. If you liked Generals you will definitely like Red Alert 2.

@ Fireball, Emperor: Battle for Dune always made me think of Battletech, especially with the Atreides with all those mechs of theirs. To me it just was not as good as Dune 2.

Hm... True, Dune 2 ruled, but its age has gotten the best of it, I fear.

EDIT: Who needs Atrides? Ordos rules!

Red Alert is the best out of the series, one of my favourite games ever. Even better when playing with friends on LAN.

thanks But I plan to get some maps up soon!!! I am currently working on a bad axx one. But I don't think I will be busted for this. Also why I haven't posted the maps yet is because I juggling school, sports, work, and more sports.
