So what you say?

Well, so nothing. It doesn't really make a difference.

It just annoys me a little when I'm looking at my subscribed threads and I see someone posted to a thread 8mins in the future... :crazyeye:

(note I am GMT - so it really does say 8mins in future to me)

Looks like you beat me to it. :) I just noticed that when I saw your post. Maybe their new server just has a fast clock...

It's been fast for at least a week, possibly 2.

I was hoping someone (TF?) could email tellefragged and tell them to use an ntp time server like every sane sysadmin in the world already does...

Of course, an ISP should have a decent sysadmin. Crazy crazy world.

Yeah I just posted it when I noticed it was 8 minutes of a couple weeks ago, did nothing, my recomendation to you people out there is "get a better clock"

Good to know when you make a mistake someone will point it out ;)
You're welcome :p

So you finally got the message from me telling you to get a watch/clock ;)

Yes but does it really matter?
Wow. Philosophy on cfc ;)

Of course it doesn't matter (what does?), but it is annoying to see that someone posted to a thread a few minutes in the future. :)

Maybe it's a real problem. I got this message when I posted at least 5 minutes after my previous post: "Sorry! The administrator has specified that users can only post one message every 30 seconds."

No that error only happens when the forum thinks you have made two posts inside 30 seconds and wouldn't be affected by the time being 10 minutes fast, as both times would be ten minutes fast.

sumthinelse, maybe you have a split personality? Why don't you ask the other you if you were posting at the same time as you were. ;)
