I could not find where I could ask questions about the forum. I hope it is here. I was wondering about the "subscribed threads". Is the "watched threads" the new equivalent of what "subscribed threads" used to be and if so, does it mean that my old subscriptions are gone since the migration?

yes, watched threads are the old subscriptions - but no they should not be gone as you can check if you click on the link saying "there may be more to view" in the watched threads tab. For me those go back to 2006 (automatic subscription by posting).
