Forum Template Option Possibility

Would it be possible to have an option to place the Display Option, Current Active Users, Moderators, and possibly sub-forums below the main forum being surfed? Much of that is irrelevant information to a veteran user, and it would be nice to load right to the thread topics. IMHO.

I usually have a big screen, so I don't mind very much, but what's up with this being greeted every time we enter a new forum or thread? IIRC we were only greeted once, when we entered the main forum, in the old version...

I don't mind much about that either, I just find it a bit odd.

IMHO it takes too much space. Leave it onto the main forum page, and give us back the old style.

Sure, keep the PM notification, but lets move the other stuff to below the main forum threads. If at all possible.

It would be even more useful if it flashed red for new PMs as I got a PM the other day while I was away and several days would have gone by had I not been sent an email.
