Actually, I think spitting up is a sign that GAB3 believes the question is beneath him. Apparently my scion does not find such a pedestrian question worthy of discussion.

However, he seemed quite interested in a discussion of Civilization strategy last night. I think he favors a more aggressive approach.

Hey, thanks for taking it Rex, and sorry for keeping you guys waiting. I just got nipped in the butt by RL and couldn't find time to play it. Since sleep is overrated anyway, I was about to play it late tonite and forgo sleep , but since Rex got it I'll wait for him.

Okay, sorry about the delay, I took a lazy morning and didn't write the report until well after Mother's Day brunch. Anyhow, I lost track of how many turns I played, but tried to stop at a round number. At six years per turn, 15 turns should have been 90 years. However, I know it didn't start on a round number, so I think I played 16 or 17, and got us up to 1502 AD. Anyhow, on to the show.

Our tribal objective is to spread as much groundless superstition as possible. My personal objective?

Spread as much groudless superstition as possible. Synchronicity, baby! So how'd that go?

Bastard Machu Pichu. We'd have wrapped up the tribal objective if those asses would just close their eyes and give in to non-unverifiable evidence! Jerks.

Anyhow, ther rest of the game saw HC get powerful. Scary powerful.

But we didn't exactly ride home on the dumb bus ourselves.

And then there was that pesky war. My major role in Operation Mongol Freedom was to secure Turfan from insurgent cells. Here's how the stage was set.

And the battle of Turfan went, well, according to Mr. Snow, it was a moral victory.

He then declined to comment on when the troops may come home. [This was actually a miscalculation on my part. Granted, after those first two cat fights, the CGII longbow was still at 6/6 , but I still didn't have enough troops to take the city. In the end, we called it a draw and bastard Khan whipped another longbow.] So we had to regroup. In the meantime...

We then scored a Great General after I took out pillaging crossbow with a defender-type longbow. Sweet!

Mr. Leonidas is still sitting in Gangzou, though, as I didn't care to think about what to do with him. Anyhow, back to the battle. Take two unfolded thusly...

After an agony of thought, I kept the city. All it had in it was a granary, though. Whatever, the Mongols are so close to self-sufficiency, the can taste it! Each Mongol yearns for freedom, I just know it!

I switched to Bureaucracy as well.

We spawned a GS in Shanghai. After much thought (2 seconds long), I decided to burn him and got us Paper.

Then I did this, and tribal objective is done.

Another pair of feet in the shower, and we're given (4x5+20) turns to complete .... hmmmm....

Nope, it's completed. 15 turns played ... unless I'm cross-eyed, which means it's 51 turns instead.

Let's see now ... rolled it at turn 11 ... took out an abacus, flick some balls, burned the abacus and got out the calculator, punched in some numbers, smashed the calculator and start counting fingers and toes ... so turn 1542?

If not we can always go back to the 4 turns already into it, so 36 turns left to complete it.

I'm a little concerned about the peace-making. During my set, we were experiencing major "I bleed for the motherland" garbage. Four red-shirts in New Sarai. Perhaps we should wait our ten turns like good little China-folk then turn the smashy-smashy back on? Khan only has a couple of cities left, I think.

I tend to agree, but that peace taking deal is quite good, bringing us 2 needed techs. I don't think we should rush into this one. Let's give ourselves 10 turns to move in, bombard, and capture Tiflis from the time of declaration. So we can spend the next 26 turns building up ourselves for the final kill.

Of-course, that's assuming khan don't redeclared 6 turns later .... and I don't roll a "Capture 1 city" for my personal

Reporting Ground Rules

The most important rule is reports should be funny. Also, you should provide adequate details (preferably screenshots) on how an objective is achieved. Normal SG etiquette applies. Standard 24hrs to post a got it, 48hrs to play and report. If you can't play, just ask for a swap or skip.

Yep. It's right next to our border, and it should go to keep pressure off of Kakorum.

Khan has 2 cities left including Tiflis, but I *think* I saw a longbow settler pair heading out during the peace turns so he might have another city spawned somewhere. This is another one of those cross-eyed moment that ChrTh complaining about
