To open, I rolled my personal objective. 6 = gain 1d6 * 100 gold OR 1d6 x 3 XP. My quantity roll was a 1 and, since were at war, I went with the XP. Raise one unit by 3 XP. No problem. And, speaking of war...
Hmmm...that simply won't do. I spent my set building primarily swords and cats. Why?
That's why. Holy smoking crap, Batman! Anyhow, in the beginning, it was defense.
I killed an invading Keshik. Unfortunately, that would turn out to be my only victory for quite some time. Maybe RNGod doesn't love his little Rexy after all.
See what I mean? While camped outside...er...that one city to the south :weed:...Khan went offensive with his longbows and axemen and took out our entire southern army. Well, all but one Axe anyway. Anyhow, to show that I'm at least *trying* for our team objective, I stuck a settler underneath a sign some courteous fellow left me.
One down, three to go. Then, while staking out the Mongol Capital, Khan gifted us our second.
Pennies from heaven? Thank RNGod!
Anyhow, that was my set in a nutshell. BTW, here was my personal objective.
