Free software you would pay for.

Are there any free software you would pay for? (For example, if it became commercial. This is including open-source software, just ignore the details. LOL).

If so, which ones and how much?

Opera, I did pay for it before it was free.

Other than that, I can't say off the top of my head, I'd have to research free alternatives, compare them to what I'm currently using, and decide if I felt like paying money.

I used to pay for it too back then, but now I woulnd't. Unlike back then today there is a viable alternative around (actually, I don't even use Opera anymore...I switched wholly to FF)

I'd probably pay for Thunderbird (depending on how much they asked). Eclipse probably would be worth a few coins too (although we use IntelliJ at work, which is rather nice as well)
