Free XML Compare/Merging Tool??

Sorry to bother you guys, because I'm quite sure this question has been answered before. But I can't find the right thread!

Can somebody please point me to a link for a freeware tool which can compare and/or merge XML files.

This is because right now I'm using examXML 3.something and the trialperiod will expire soon

could be usefull, since it´s free, but something especially made for XML files could be more usefull.
