Freeze before turn start when clicking city

Sometimes, there is an additional loading time in the barbarian turn, just before it's the player turn again. I noticed that if I, during this loading time, click a city to look at stuff, the game freezes for a while. The first time I actually thought the game had crashed, but after something like 30 seconds it continued again.
