Thunderfall's got many other issues to deal with. He does get to the name change requests, so it just takes patience. After all, he's got this huge site and forum to run.

I know this question seems kind of Megalomaniac, but how does one become a Moderator?

Being a Moderator looks to me like it might be a lot of work. These folks don't seem to have a lot of spare time to participate in games or other forum events anymore.

Well, it's not like I went up to Thunderfall himself and yelled about being a Moderator. I guess that's something Robo-Snickers might do.

And now you'll never be a moderator. First off, moderators need respect from posters, second off, they can't be trolls. (See your own post for what not to do) Third off, moderators usually need to show intelligence at some point. And moderators can, and will post regularly. Chieftess has over 20,000 posts, so does Ainwood. Turner was approaching that number. You don't have to cease posting if you're a moderator.

Yes, he was. He joined the same month and year that I did. He's always been friendly, active in many areas of the board, knowledgeable about the games, always tactful, never insults, flames or tries to hurt anyone's feelings, has a great sense of humor, tries to encourage and include everyone in the fun, and I've seen him actively use a higher degree of integrity in some situations here than most people ever think of having. He's certainly earned my respect!

He seems to come by every once in a while, go on a big posting spree, and then disappear.

No, trolling is deliberately disrespecting someone's view point or background, post, etc. It's in no way a view point.
