Remember, these were very old. Some of them still have the flags on them. I'll make some more soon.

When I was bored I used to do epic 6 army clashes where each army was filled to capacity with peasants and did battle. Last man standing wins.

Wish I'd taken some screenshots now, will remember to do that when I get my computer back.

I definietly threw two armies together and attacked Rome. my army had all heavy onagers, and my ally was the heavy infantry. I fire bombed hte crap out of Rome, and as she burned, i rocked out to Franz Ferdinand's "This Fire." Ah, good times
Thats my favorite band and I love that song. How appropriate!

nice one dread!

ok ok story time kiddies

I was rockin a game on expert as the English, this is in MTW ok. I was in a long and hard war with the numerically and technologically superior Holy Roman Empire, who was aligned with, to my despair, the French. I did have Billmen though. our three forces met at the rich province of Flanders. I had contributed the 960 men possible on one army to hte field, consisting of about an even mix of billmen, feudal seargants, hobilars, archers, and or course, my king. We were outnumbered 3:1, the Germans brought 3 or 4 companies of their awsome Swabian Swordsmen, the only time ive ever seen the comp use them; this supplimented a mostly peasant/milita force under a French prince, and both parties also had ballistae. I soundly defeated both armies in turn. As i chased the routing French from the field, as they were the latter of the two i engaged, my King's unit crested a hill. And of course, ont he other side was a ballista battery, pointing right at him. First sot goes right through his horse, which of coruse kills him. I was more than angry. Now i won the battle, and actaully took the last province on the map in 1265, but at the time i had like 7 provinces, and really didnt like the idea of losing my best general and king ( i wouldnt have a competent king for a hundred years) to some stupid ballista, and a French one at that!
