The new MTV. :(

Well, thankfully Nat Geo is filling in the void. I'm really enjoying their recent WW2 specials, and not only that. Even the other day I saw one really good show about Angkor Wat and Sury, a Wonder and a leader I never knew that much about other than what I learned through Civ4.

Discovery channel is, like the History channel, doing poorly, but they were never that good to begin with and at least they don't have 'History' and their name, and still have some decent shows like 'Man vs Wild' or 'Mythbusters' that can make up for some of their other bad shows like Larry the redneck or Extreme fishing or whatever.

I have a Swedish History Channel its called Viasat History, everything is on English, they have great shows like Asian monarchies (from the first monarchs to the situation now), Egypt (a BBC documentary), some great German shows (they're also on english) on economy & social changes from medieval times to now, such as the start of capitalism, world trade, socialism, pacifism...

VH1 had 6-8 hour marathons of music in the summer of '06 or '07, or whenever Adele's Pavement and 3 Doors Down's It's Not My Time and Maroon 5's If I Never See Your Face Again and New Kids On The Block's Summertime were hip.

But we are terribly off topic.

I don't care how unmanly this post is, that picture is omg cutest thing ever.

I think the first one was, that's how those things usually work.

I thought so too, but I'm wondering where the flag is coming from.
