I do not think that word means what you think it means.
No, BAT makes the mod prettier by combining several graphics mods like BlueMarble (terrain), Varietas Delectat (units), and Ethnic City Styles (or some successor, for buildings).
BUG gives you more information, and it can be a little overwhelming at first, just like the vanilla game was when you first played it. Luckily there's help--online and off--with some pictures to help (mostly). More importantly, you can configure every feature and remove anything you don't like.

2) Considering I have 6 cities, my research slider is on 100%, and I can get Alphabet in 4 turns... Gilgamesh is being just a little bit too greedy.
