Playing FFH2. The stupid Bannor led by the even more stupid Capria built the Mercurian Gate at a border city. It was the border with Arendel. You know, the elf woman with the hard-on for culture? Yes. Her.
Two turns and one culture bomb later, the Mercurian civilisation has been destroyed. Fastest deadbeat demon defeat I have ever seen.

I dreamed (yes, i said it, I dream about civ) that I started a thread called "Funny Screenshots, the best ones." and I became famous around the forums for doing it.
The thing is im too lazy to gather all the funny pictures from this thread. The new thread would ONLY have pictures and they would only be about CIV4, BTS and RFC since they are more mainstream.

Can someone please put a pic up? I would, but all my funny ones disappeared off my hard drive... I had a Civ V with a swordsman running in place after the rest of the unit stopped, and a single knight facing the wrong way.

Anyone have the very old screenshot of Montezuma bugged with only his eyes, mouth and headdress showing? It's from years ago and I saved it from the old thread but that harddrive crashed. I even looked through the old thread - every page - but a lot of screenshots and links no longer work.

Victory by any means necessary! I was going for a Culture Win, but so was Ramesses. He was eventually able to take a semi-permanent lead over me, so I had to spend last stretch of the game pulling him out of Free Speech and causing his cities to revolt to try and slow him down. He's of course Spiritual, so I didn't have Anarchy to help me while I pulled him between civics. Needless to say, after a a few turns he wasn't very pleased with me anymore:

Nice indeed, I once won a Dual Cultural Conquest over Monty with Always Peace, even though it was only achieved in the very end, as his units really made revolt chances low.
By the end I had a -30 spy was caught causing trouble modifier.
However, considering that you (probably) weren't playing with Always Peace on, why bothering so much with spies and not just send in a stack and either raze or capture Thebes?

Ramesses was something of a regional power in that game; I was only going for a Culture Victory because he didn't leave me with enough cities to try anything else. The time I normally could have spent trying to attack him was used conquering France (who I ironically boxed in and only let place one other city). Besides, Ramesses' main culture cities were all pretty well defended and were at the heart of his empire. On top of that, even at 50000 culture one of my cities couldn't complete its BFCs because of how much culture Ramesses was producing in each of his cities. The man was a monster of a neighbor.
