this is the first time this has ever happened in any of my games, and not knowing what caused it really pissed me off. now i'm thinking it was probably the result of defying AP/UN resolutions because i had defied an AP resolution the turn before.
(reason for +5: "the world considers you a villain!")

Those battles happen frequently, especially considering it only takes 333 battles to lose at 99.7%. Also considering it was Infantry and not something like a Spearman, it's not as funny.....

too funny ... 1 in 333 is classified as 'frequent' ... but I know what you mean.

If you fight 231 99.7% battles, then you have a 50% chance of losing at least 1 of them.

1 - 0.997 ^ 231 = 50.0%
