I know, I hate Scientific Method Obsoletin mah monasteries.
If I were to modify Scientific Method, it should grant 10-15% extra research in all cities, especially if it's on a mod with many extra late game technologies (i.e. Next War, & to a lesser extent Legends of Revolution). After all, the development of Scientific Method ushered in greater advances in science & research!

Workable mountains?

Hammurabi is on the list in the next game.

It wasn't me, maybe my ally. :mischief:

I've changed my mind.

The mountain in the truffle picture will become workable in that game.
But why would someone want to work a tile equivalent to a non-improved riverside tundra or to a jungle luxury?

Why must I pass through that torture!!??:cry::wallbash::aargh::suicide:

I was playing for the culture win, & for me that's monastery spamming. I researched EVERYTHING prior to Scientific Method, but going any further wasn't needed, since I was already going 100% :culture: slider with my 3 culture cities going full throttle in culture production.

You can just on the research bar every turn so you don't research anything.

Spain having America(Spanish States) and Aztecs(Mexico) as vassals is sort of realistic,China owning Babylon, not so much.

I don't get the "It wasn't me" one.

I don't get any but the first one.

Isabella had built the SS docking bay, but the picture doesn't show this part.
So someone must have sabotaged it.

Comment to the last picture. It was a re-call of banning nuclear weapons, so
they could be produced and used again. And the votes were clear. :D

Hammurabi stole techs from me the previous turn before I had them researched.
I had sitting bull do that to me in a game ... steal the techs before I could even use them. Very annoying ... and a bad move by him :D

Come to think of it, I've never had the AI steal a tech from me.

They must fear my wrath.

Augustus kept stealing techs from me once...it got so annoying, I destroyed him. ;)

Good Lord I wish I had locations like that!

ugh... not even that good city ... Furs are mid range of reaseuces ... the only good thing about them IMO is that they can be camped and used while they're still forested, and those you have aren't even that

The usual problem with lots of fur like that (particularly in plains like these are) is that you just don't have the food you need. Camping furs does nothing for your food supply! However in this case, all those crabs solve that problem completely. Id take this start very happily indeed - it's an early whip user's heaven with those crabs developed, and camp the furs and you have some supurb early gold and beakers. Mid game and later though you better hope you have some other good sites to take over from this one, because it's best use will be early game!

yeah - talk about no hammers! What a dreadful city. Only joking - its a good city to start with and if you plant a few hammer heavy cities, then your civ will be rocking.
